Good luck to all of you! ED1 Accepted

@collegebound1260 Iād say go for ED 2 if you have ur heart set on NYU.

hey guys, how important are interviews at nyu? I live in Texas soā¦not sure if theyāre able to do one for me.

@zebrashorts, what makes you say that? do you think i have a better shot at ed ii rather than regular?

@collegebound1260 it shows that youāre committed to the school plus if you go for RD you would be up against even tougher competition e.g ivy hopefuls using NYU as a safety school. Which school are you applying to? Stern?

If I am applying for Stern ED II, should I be ticking the box that asks if I would like to be considered for other NYU schools? Iām not sure if that might lower my chances of getting in Stern.

Hey guys! I was accepted to NYU Stern ED1 let me know if you guys have any questions! wish yall the best!

@zebrashorts-- no, CAS. i am going in undecided but i mention in my supplement and app i want to focus on english. it is my strongest subject and i do enjoy it. i live 30 min away from the city, so my school is pretty interested overall with NYU. both parents went there, will that help?

I think im going to apply ED 2 to Gallatin. hopefully ill get inā¦

i am so nervous about submitting my application! AAAAH.

@collegebound1260 you should ask @sundychen95! Iām sure he knows a lot more.

Is anyone else not even close to being ready to submit their app? (EDII)

I submitted it! Just waiting for sat scores :(

not sure what to think nowā¦ was just deferred from northeasternā¦ thought i had a pretty good chance there. does this mean i should give up hope for NYU?

@collegebound1260 Definitely donāt give up hope. NYU often times surprises people with their acceptances. You never know what the admissions committee might find exceptional or appealing about you. Universities have different standards for what they deem to be their ideal candidate. If NYU is one of your top choices, regardless of the status of your other applications, you should definitely still apply.

ED2 NYUAD and NYUNY!

Can anyone else help me? I plan on applying to NYU ED 2, and I am going to submit my application before the Jan.1 deadline. However, my counselor has not signed the ED agreement form on the common app. My school is on winter break right now, and the earliest he can sign it is Jan. 4. If I submit everything (Common App, Supplement, Test Scores) before the ED2 deadline, can I still considered for ED2?

what do our counselors have to sign? i only see something for parentsā¦

they have to sign an ED agreement under the counselor recommender section

Hey guys!! What is the word limit for the NYU supplement? On the online blog, it says 500 words max but the box allows for moreā¦
