its 500 max.

Hello all, I got into Stern ED 1. If anybody has any questions feel free to send me a PM. Good luck and look out for that financial aid message change!

i have a 1980 sat. an all right gpa, but tons of extracurriculars with leader ship positions, including helping in a mayoral campaign for the city comptroller and a letter of rec from from him. Assuming my essay and supplement are good, do I have a shot for stern? I also come from a feeder school.

that sat is a little low. im goin in with a 2250 sat and i dont even know if i have a shot in stern.

Well what’s your gpa?

Guys, I got into stern with 2160. I think as long as you are in 2100-2200 and above you should be fine with sat. NYU value supplement essay a lot. Make sure you show your passion and your drive to go to NYU. Overall, I would say score isn’t the most important thing they consider but if you have a chance, at least bring it up to 2000. Also they look at your GPA too. A high gpa can much help a fairly low sat.

For the supplement, are you supposed to creatively integrate those two questions into one piece, or do you just answer the two questions directly in 2 paragraphs?

I integrated them to one piece

How important are business related ec’s? The ones my school have arent too legit the fbla was just made and YEA is kinda bs too

@Skamal1 if you have some that would be great, if not that’s fine too

@skamal1 i think they like leadership roles in your activities, doesnt necessarily have to be business i guess.

does anyone know if the guidance counsler has to sign the ED 2 agreement before Jan 1st? or can it be done afterwards? becuase i want to do nyu ed 2 but i have to wait until the 6th…

Does anyone have the ED and RA acceptance rates from last yearly. is it drastically harder to get into stern RA???
should i submit the 2140 SAT(650CR 690WR 800M) or 33 ACT(30Science 31Reading 34English 35 Math)???

@asiankidd1996 For stern I think it’s around 15-18 percent overall.

@asiankid1996, the 650 and 690 on your SAT is lower than your 31 and 34 on ACT in equivalency (i think), but your 800 on SAT is better than your 35.
I don’t know, i would send in both, they only require one but they’re both around the same score (33 ACT is like 2190 SAT)

3 more daya omg

I’m doing ED II to NYU-Poly.

is a 2230 sufficient for Stern? I have a 4.0 unweighted which is prob a 4.3 weighted. My extracurriculars are excellent. common app essay is great. supplement is good.

also, are decisions stats driven? for stellar stats (not mine lol) does the essay count for alot?
