NYU ED II 2018 Discussion

@NYUhopeful1 i was looking at your post on page 33 and i just wanted to point out that one of the people who got rejected after the FA change (alex) was an international from asia

My friend and I are going out the 14th to either A. Celebrate or B. Comfort me. And @nyuhopeful1 I did the program two years ago

@stjohnson But the other applicant was from New Jersey

@julietrose11 Well you have a very nice supportive friend

@stjohnson I second that, the FA change theory should NOT apply to internationals based on the idea that financial aid has already viewed out application (whether or not we have applied for FA).

@chances1please Okay, but the other applicant was from New Jersey so it still has some explaining to do

Trends will have outliers… it just seems that this specific trend has very few! IDK I’m a believer and I’m getting stressed out just thinking about it… lol we’ll really know in 9 more days

Agreed. And best of luck to everybodyy

!!! JUST GOT MY FA CHANGE. 2015 / New York University / Award Access not available. Is the award access the one to look for or the no self-service?

@sternhopeful2018 Yes!!! Congrats :)

We’re believing that the “no self service” one was specifically for ED 1 and will most likely not be seen in the ED 2’s. So yes, the 2015 award access is what we’re looking for.

happy that sternhopeful2018 got it… he deserved it.

man i hope this means something… reading the ed1 posts for some reason i believe that this all a hoax…

who from here is applying to stern and HAS NOT gotten the fa change?

@outonalimb @rodrigo9 thanks to both of you  appreciate it. best of luck guys

Just wondering does the admission email come on the 14th or the 15th because even though the website says the 15th I’ve heard it’s the 14th from some people

@tmr212 It’s the 14th, as it says on NYU Albert.

has it ever came out days early?

No, probably not more than a couple days, ED 1 was pushed up 2 days because they were finished reviewing real early.

I doubt that will happen for ed 2

how many kids on average apply ed2 to nyu… and specifically to stern?

OK, so when I log onto nyu.edu I can do just about anything - see the entire school directory, print out an order form for discounted computer, just like a student. I went to the summer program 2 years ago.

@rodrigo9 I applied stern and have not gotten the change yet. Why are you asking? I am really nervous :/
