*NYU Fall 2018 Transfer Thread*

Hm, it seems like it might not mean anything this year then. That, or I misunderstood what the people last year meant.

However, when I click on the housing tab on my Albert I am taken to the Bursar website which people also mentioned last year. It has my student account and payment options. I have a feeling it doesn’t mean much though, must just be a place-holder… sadly.

@Vincent1997 you can click the words “view your bill and make housing payments?” I can click “NYU Housing Payments” which takes me to the Bursar website. I think you might be confused, we’re referring to the words under that being a hyperlink - which it is not

Yeah my mistake. I realized it after I posted.

Have you guys applied to any other schools and received decisions yet? I applied to OSU Fisher and was accepted and also applied to Fordham Gabelli LC, but I was rejected, sadly. Due to the F-LC rejection I have a bad feeling about NYU considering I applied to Stern (which is crazy competitive) but I guess who knows.

Does anyone NOT see the Housing / NYU Housing Payments tab on their Albert?

Guys, how did you submit your midterm report?! NYU told me my school has to send it in, but they don’t do official midterm reports - I had the commonapp midterm report sheet filled out and signed by all my profs. Should I just request that my school send it on my behalf? (if they can even do that).

I’d like to fax it over or email but was told it won’t be taken into consideration if received from me…

fax! I did that and they accepted it

my registrars office did it

have a cover sheet from your school on top of it, too.

@mishk90 awesome, thank you! Gonna head in tomorrow morning and have them do it ASAP. I submitted my app in Feb so I hope they didn’t already go over it lol

I just scanned mine in and emailed it. Do you think that’s a problem?

@way2stressed0ut when you emailed it, did they reply letting you know they received it? if not - they might not be considering it and you should go to your school’s registrar office and have them fax it like @mishk90 did. When I emailed NYU I was told that I could not submit my Midterm report on my own.

@msport @way2stressed0ut did they ask you guys specifically on the portal to send mid term reports? i didn’t get asked to send them in…a little confused

Make sure to go to your registrar and have them fax it- with a cover sheet on top of the midterm report. It’ll be better

@msport I got an automated confirmation email saying they received it, yes. On the form, it says for professors should “return the form to the applicant for mailing”

@koreanincali no, nyu doesn’t request midterm reports, they are optional send in.

@mishk90 what do you mean by cover sheet btw?

@msport it’s a paper from the registrars office that says your schools name and “registrars office”- when you tell them they’ll know
