@sifhsn omg ill cry no way who said that
@dexterjettser fingers crossed for ya!!
Anyone heard back from Gallatin?
@AnikaandAj What’s this about a change in acceptance rates for undergrads? Did they go up or down?
So I didn’t realize we had to send in a college report and recommendation letter so I am just now sending them…do y’all think that’s okay? I also am giving my professor the student evaluation tomorrow so he can fill it out and give it back so I can send it on Monday.
I hate that they’re making us wait because I’m literally waiting on this decision to figure my next move lol I hope Tisch finds out like next week. Also, is anybody else applying to transfer to Clive Davis or is it just me??
@Malcontent it went down to 19%
Do they consider sophomore transfers and junior transfers separately since they would fill spaces of two different classes or is it all the same?
Has anyone called film for an estimate on when they will release decisions? I am too scared to
I called admissions to see if all my papers/materials had been received and they said they’d received everything and when I asked when all decisions would be released by they said decisions are being rolled out from this point all the way up to June 15
They make sure that your app is complete and then begin the reviewing process which makes sense, but then I’d assume that it’s a first come, first served kinda of deal, but at the same time there are some ppl who applied months ago and still haven’t heard back yet, meanwhile I submitted my app the day before the deadline but all my supplements were sent out beforehand and were received even before my application. By the way these decisions are rolling out I could either hear back by today or next week or, God forbid, even have to wait till June :(( On a side note the lady I talked to on the phone was really nice, lol, I’ve been too scared to call up until now and expected a more hostile tone since they calls like this all the time, lol
so my fafsa was just sent to my schools right now would that delay their decision making? like does that count as “materials” because they never told me anything about it when they sent me an email about my transcript.
No I don’t think so, some people have waited to receive their decisions before even submitting their Fafsa. The only downside is that if you wait to do so then there’s less funds for scholarships and such. That’s what I read in the email NYU sent me about Financial Aid after I submitted my app.
So last year when I applied to tisch I sent my application in the day before the app was due (March 31st) and I got my rejection May 16th. This year I applied on Feb. 28th and still haven’t heard back but hopefully it’s soon! I feel like they are taking their time this year haha.
@jsjsfilm I saw people getting their acceptance last year as early as april 25th. And many people who were waiting till late May all got rejected. I had a bad feeling that they already sent out all the acceptance already and they are just waiting till late May to send out all the rejection. Hopefully that’s not the case… super nervous right now
@jsjsfilm Did you submit a short film? Can you see if they watched yours? They have already watched mine almost 20 days ago.
@tdtdtdtdtdtd Do you know anyone that got accepted yet?
@skyleigh personally no, I am just having bad thoughts lol
@xxhelpxx I just now sent my college report and recommendation because I didn’t realize they were required. But since most people haven’t received decisions yet I’m assuming it will be fine. I would assume the same for you
