@WARHog @iamylsitch @cs23305 just out of curiosity, what major did you guys apply for and when did you submit your apps?
@XiHalo117 i applied for biomolecular science and i submitted my application around mid feb and everything was checked off by march
I even emailed them about my application and they said they have everything and around end of april i sent them my midterm too
And I recently emailed them like 5 time and last week they said they got everything and that theyll email or have the decision ready within 3-4 weeks
@iamylsitch ahhh alright got it. I appled for Computer Science and submitted my application by March 1st. I’ve had everything checked off since April and I called but they said they’re still making decisions and they can come out at any time between now and June.

High School GPA: ~3.7
High School EC’s:
- Internship at City Hall
- Lots of student leadership positions
College Major: Finance and Computer Science (I’m a first year and I initially had just Finance so I’ve only started taking Comp Sci courses this semester).
College GPA: 3.92
College EC’s:
- E-Board positions for three clubs (Honor Council, Finance Society, and Muslim Student Association) and member of Game Development Club.
- I run a multiple thousand dollar business on campus.
- I learned how to code and develop games myself using Unity software and some other learning bases.
I have a pretty strong essay in my opinion. One great recommendation and one decent recommendation. I’m relying on my essay and EC’s since my GPA isn’t a 4.0. What about you?

@jd9821 I just spent like half an hour on the thread for NYU transfers last year and it seems that they usually start releasing decisions on Tuesdays around 11:30 am and then continue throughout the day.
@XiHalo117 I applied for Computer Science (CAS) first choice and Computer Science (Tandon) second choice. Application Submitted February 26th. Mid-Year Grades requested end of March, submitted first week of April.

hey, do they request the mid-term report from everyone who is admitted? Because they did not request mine, and I am afraid that is a bad sign.

@vhugo_lopes they probably just haven’t reviewed your material yet, I submitted my application at the beginning of March but got my winter quarter transcript request last week, which is the probably the time they started to review my material.

Hi guys, I applied to CAS and under my housing portal, the NYU housing link that says summer 2018 was replaced by a “NYU Housing Payments” link. And when I click on it it directed me to NYU electronic suite payment page. Does anyone know if this means anything

@megan0818 pretty sure that change happened for everyone. Did you see the wording changed in the application status page too, at the top? I think they just got rid of stuff used for freshman applicants. Don’t worry.
I applied to tandon, too, and my admissions counselor (an actual admissions officer from tandon, not just someone from NYU admin office) reached out via email asking for hs transcripts that hadn’t arrived so I think they’re probably reviewing them now.
