@nichy99 when did you apply?
Have any Gallating people not heard back yet?
Gallatin*
I wonder what percentage of applicants have gotten their decisions at this point. Judging by how much this thread seems to have slowed down in the last week, I’d say we must be nearing 50%, no?
@Malcontent Yeah, maybe more than that. Another wave tomorrow or wed.
Hey guys, I got an email a few days ago from the assistant director of admissions asking for my midterm report on May 1st lol. Do you think this is a good sign? I’m assuming I’m up against a few other candidates which is why they wanted to know what classes I’m taking/ what grades I’m receiving. I applied for Steinhardt applied Psychology if that helps.
@bornforthis23 midterm report is required to be submitted
@aksbeast Midterm report is not a mandatory requirement, college report is.
@bornforthis23 since a lot of Steinhardt people are also waiting to hear back I’d say that it’s at least a sign that you’re being taken into consideration, which is always a good sign. I hope you hear back soon!
@gearsekandou oh wow I was so sure it was, did not know that, I submitted it anyways with my application
@bornforthis23 then I’m assuming its a good sign
@bornforthis23 I believe midterm report may be to help them make a decision, but it may not be anything major. They asked for my midterm report on April 1st (submitted app in Feb). It has been almost a month since I sent in my report (which had all As) and I have not gotten a decision yet. I called in about two weeks ago just to confirm my application was complete, and an admissions person said they have both midterm and college report on file.
I will let you know if anything happens, but I think asking for a midterm report is standard. A lot of people have been asked. How are your stats? Perhaps they ask for grade report for those with a GPA lower than average.
Hey, I got into Gallatin on April 17th, and I submitted my application on March 30th. I am a first-year student at Northeastern, and I wanted a more self-designed course of study.

Why Transfer was about my love for puzzles as a child and how I did not want to be confined or constrained and not fit in like a puzzle,
Recommendations: I believe they were great I often stood out in class and I was very analytical. My professors really liked me.
My College GPA and SAT was not high, but its essentially all about how bad you want it and lots of prayer lol.
anyone heard anything today? do you guys know what days they usually send decisions?
@camilaperalta usually on tuesdays
can anyone who has been accepted say if they had any changes before their acceptance and which changes please?
How do you know if they have received your college report yet? Is there supposed to be a box for it under NYU Albert?
@czheng There’s no box for the college report, I only knew they had it when I called the admissions office.
@czheng Yes there should be a checked off section in your application status. I had one, but once they got it it actually disappeared. The admissions team does not always update the Albert. If you are concerned about whether or not they received something, you should call them. They will look in your file and let you know.
@czheng There isn’t one. You’ll need to ask your admissions counselor whether they’ve gotten it.
What time do admissions usually come out?
