I’m worried they’ve already accepted their first choices for MCC applicants since several heard last week and none heard this week :’(

At first I was thinking maybe they accepted people they wanted first then they send out massive amounts of rejections, but it doesn’t make sense because that would be so hearltess; to keep the people they KNOW they don’t want at the edge of their seat and let them know last. And I feel like “rolling” decsions is as they come across it not necessarily in a particular order…But idk im just putting ideas out there lol

Hi y’all guys. I am new here and have a question… is there anyone whose advisor is Colin Brown? After I submitted my application, I haven’t heard back anything yet. no midterm report or college report. So I emailed him and turned out he is out of NYU til May 13th… I am getting nervous Help Me Plz
Try emailing admissions instead. They might lead you to another person who is better to help you.
Has anyone who applied to CAS for psychology heard back? I applied February 9th and still haven’t heard back
so i called and talked to an admissions officer and she explained that they work on an admission committee meaning that a bunch of counselors meet and discuss your application and then make a decision. It all depends when the counselors have time and meet and there are different groups for each separate school. probably some committees haven’t met yet and that’s why some of us have not heard back yet. They are releasing decisions throughout the first week of June she told me so don’t freak out

@tangerine12 You will honestly probably find housing a lot cheaper off campus, especially if you have roommates. The cost for dorms for like 8 months can get you a full year lease and you pay monthly. If you have rooomates then off campus coursing should be fine. You can sublease, co-sign with others, or go through furnished student solutions.
@tangerine12 they do it for every school apparently, so they probably meet weekly or idk
HIII! I got in as well. Haha I did the same thing, opening Albert in the morning and receiving the admission email in the afternoon. I applied for MCC in Paris, but I did call later to see if they have spaces available for NYC campus, but they don’t. I wonder which campus are you going. Congrats btw!

@gearsekandou External transfer student to NYU. I’ve already finished my freshman year at Northeastern University in Boston and will be transferring to NYU to start my fall 2018 semester. I called the admission office to see if they can change my campus and they said it was full.
Accepted into Tandon a few hours ago for MechE. I did get two emails about this prior to checking Albert. Good luck to everyone waiting to hear back!
