NYU Fall 2020 Transfer

Just out of curiosity, has everyone’s checklist disappeared? Or do some people still have it?

@Sampats I still have mine but everything is checked off (both transcripts, testing, and my evaluations say received) idk what it means if it does/doesn’t disappear

@Sampats I still have my checklist. Everything is checked, except it says its awaiting “standardized test scores”. But im a sophomore, so I never sent those

What does a disappearing Checklist mean? It’s so strange how those with everything checked off still have their checklists

@Sampats I just called admissions and was like “just want to confirm my app is complete blah blah blah” and he said I’m all good. So, at least we know its not a problem with the materials

Did anyone submit their Midterm Transfer Report?

@Arithmetix did you ask what disappearing checklist means?

@cena10567 I️ submitted my mid term transfer report. I️ think you only have to submit it if they ask you, but if you did well I️ don’t think it could hurt.

@Sampats he didn’t know but you should call and ask because the guy I spoke with seemed new lol

I forgot who was asking, but once you receive an acceptance, you will have 2 weeks to accept/decline your offer within the NYU Albert Portal.

@Jd9252 did you have any portal changes before you were accepted?

@Jd9252 specifically, did your checklist disappear or any Albert changes

@Sampats my checklist disappeared the day I got my link to the portal. It was weird because that morning I checked the portal and my checklist was there and completed. Then later in the day, I checked again and it disappeared.

anyone get a decision today?

Hi everyone. If it makes anyone feel better, I applied since February 5th and my checklist still shows. I called admissions today, and they said everything is fine and that they haven’t reviewed my application as yet. The order of decisions seems to be completely random.

@sampats @Arithmetix From what I went through and what everyone else is saying, the portal changes don’t matter. If you submitted everything and the system notices, the checklist will disappear and will state that everything needed was received. As long as you have everything checked green or waived, you’re fine.

The first thing is that you’ll receive an email stating there’s a status update. You’ll log into your applicant portal, not Albert to view the decision (I mean I guess you could, but don’t).

The decision letter is on the portal link: https://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions.html

In addition, if you get accepted, you will still use the applicant portal. It will show you the next checklists needed for enrollment.

NYU Albert is for accepting/declining, viewing credit transfers, financial aid, etc.

Hope this helps everyone out some.

Hi guys I just found out that my checklist disappeared. I submitted my application three minutes before the deadline. It used to say that they only received my rec letter plus my SAT scores from last year when I applied as a senior so I uploaded my unofficial transcripts from both college and high school on Saturday. Right now, instead of the checklist, it says “We have received all of the necessary documents to review your application. If we need any additional supporting materials, we will reach out to you via email.”

my checklist disappeared, I applied March 28th

Hi guys, they just posted this in my portal:

In light of the Coronavirus situation, NYU Admissions is currently operating remotely. As a result, we will have limited access to physical mail during this period. While our office is still receiving mail, it will take additional time to process these documents. We are continuing to receive and process official test scores sent electronically from testing agencies, transcripts through electronic delivery services, as well as documents emailed to admissions.docs@nyu.edu. Additionally, you may upload unofficial transcripts and test scores in this portal below.

If they ask for a mid term report I don’t really know what tell them because my college moved to pass or fail this semester.
