I just got into this program instead of the College of arts and sciences, which is what I originally wanted.
Has anyone heard of this?
What do you think?

Anything you tell me could really help me decide . . . :)

Same thing happened to me too, what’s the deal?

Are they implying that I’m not good enough for CAS but they don’t want to flat out reject me?

YalieGirl: It depends where they offer you admission I think. I had the option of the overseas campuses but also NY so I clicked on the NY one when I logged into the link they gave in the email.

Branches92: I’m not sure but from all the articles I’ve read in the last few days on it it seems like there’s no exact reason for them putting us in LSP which is annoying. I’ve read what you suggested but also that they think we would fit better in a smaller setting. It’s probably a combination of the two though.

One of my friends got in and found this: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/new-york-university/606972-nyu-liberal-studies-program-4.html
