@rogahen the end part made me lol

Wait…so far, the people that have not applied for FA has the FA page changed?

@edward0328 I have NOT applied for FA and it changed for me-super weird.

@Ccally As Drake once said: “I’m more than just a number”

@edward0328 no idea i sidnt pay attention to the website until now

FA changes are generally rolling…they happen over time. So if you don’t have a change, it doesn’t mean it won’t change. But I do believe that if it says 2015, that is a indicator that you may be accepted. And it would change regardless of whether you applied for aid. At least that’s what seemed to happen in the past. Good luck.

did anyone applying to tisch get their FA stats changed?? i regret reading this… i think im becoming paranoid

NYU New York, CAS

FA changed, says 2015
I did not apply for FA

Sat: 2160 GPA W: 4.1

Is there any chance that even though I have the FA change, that I have been rejected? What I’m asking is does this mean for sure that I was accepted?

Campus: NYU Shanghai.
FA: Award Access not available.
GPA: 4.0 W.

@ilovegoldfish i think its really hard to say…i have the same thing as you do so im hoping with you

Campus: New York, CAS
FA: changed- no self service access for this year (2015)
Applied for financial aid
GPA UW: 3.8 W: 4.26
SAT: 2080 also sent in IB scores
-but there’s a lot more to me too :)

In order to really speculate what’s happening, add whether you applied for FA.

If you guys haven’t seen it yet, here’s the forum about this from last year: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/new-york-university/1460258-nyu-edii-fa-change-result-disclosure-pledge-thread.html?highlight=financial+aid

Also, I don’t think it matters whether you applied for FA cause at this point it looks like those who did and didn’t apply for FA have seen the change.

@ilovegoldfish thanks for that link!!
“So in summary for future applicants… Change in FA = Acceptance, No Change = Rejection.” I read through over half of that thread and it seems like the above conclusion is true. Some even described it as a “sure thing” and “not even a theory anymore.” I’m so happy and relieved :)

For those of you whose FA pages have not yet changed: DON’T WORRY! It is most likely rolling and will probably be changing for a lot of people in the upcoming days. It was just Thanksgiving so they might not have had enough time to update everyone’s FA pages. Please do not go crazy over it…my stats are good but nothing that will make you scream and my page changed. There’s a lot of applicants with better stats that haven’t seen a change in their FA page (yet).

@rogahen I completely agree with you…the rolling part. Im guessing if this is all true, we will see morr changed pages on FA page next week,as we are getting closer and closer to the decision date

@edward0328 Exactly! I mean, there are some REALLY strong candidates on this thread, I doubt they were rejected.

Would it be absolutely ridiculous to email NYU admissions about this? Considering that this is the second year that its happened, and we’re all pretty paranoid… I don’t wanna spend all this time thinking that I got in because of the change only to be rejected later.

Just wondering if after getting into Global and then under setting does everyone have an “official looking” email address for NYU? Mine is ######nyu.edu? No idea if everyone gets a school email or if it is a good sign to getting in?

@ilovegoldfish nah i dont think you should email them, they might even change everyones to the same again so we REALLY dont know haha. no but in all seriousness it seems waaay to early to have already made a decision for everyone when they have 2 more weeks. maybe its alphabetical! haha just throwing out some ideas
