Makes me feel much better now

Hi i know this is already answered but just to make sure, no one else has their portfolio/audition checked off right? I applied to NYU music tech program and they required online submission. I already submitted mine but no check mark on the required credentials. I already emailed the department and they said its not automated and everything should be fine unless you directly get an email saying they don’t have the audition. I didn’t get one so I should be fine right?

And I’m assuming no one else has their auditio portfolios checked off?

Sorry im worrying about the littlest things right now…all of this FA aid thing and what not…agghhh making the wait all the more anxious haha.

Anyways…11 more dayss!!!

out of 2400

@Edward0328 I applied to Tisch Film and my portfolio was checked off about a week or so ago. They seem to be working through things out of order, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Reading about the FA thing freaked me out, too, but I think people on here have reached a consensus that it doesn’t mean anything. I hope so!

@silentgravity yeah i guess. The academic advisor did not email me so I guess I’m ok. And also if by chance it didn’t get submitted, they would notify me…correct?

11 more days guys! We can do this!

does anyone know what time rejections/acceptances usually come out on the 13th?

@infinitely I think on the albert front home page it said 5pm…not too sure. Someone said maybe a bit earlier around 3…

@Edward0328 I’m pretty sure, yes. I emailed admissions because my Common App still said submitted rather than downloaded, and they told me they had everything. So I think things may be slow to update on the websites, but the department is definitely working on everything.

What do got guys mean submitted and downloaded?

@sundychen95 When you sign into your Common App account, the front page shows you the colleges you’ve applied to; when you click on one, a menu appears that tells you when you’ve submitted your application and supplement if you had one. When admissions downloads your app to review it, the status should change from “submitted” to “downloaded,” but it doesn’t always.

Hi I almost hate to ask this because I know how crazy the financial aid info made everyone. I logged in to my Albert account and into global and noticed something new. I now have a different I’d number that is suppose to be my student I’d, not the 3 digit one but a longer one. It also let me go to a couple of new places that weren’t there the other day. Does anyone else notice the same?

What is your new id - like is it your initials and three numbers? Also, what other places does it let you go to?

It’s a longer I’d that start with an N. in the top right corner it now comes up as preferences and settings/channels. It gives me a couple of new things to look at and I have an I’d that is noted as student id

Yeah, I was gonna ask the same, @putums. Where do you see the number, btw? On the first page of the Global, it had my name and NYU. I have to go into My Settings to see my ID.

Aw, man. Maybe different stuff for different applicant? Hope this doesn’t turn out to be like the FA dilemma. Too much anxiety! :x

@putums can you screenshot it to Marinozai? I’ll check with her later to see if it means anything.

The I’d is under preferences. I’m applying to cas for journalism. I am embarrassed to admit I have no clue on how to do a screen shot.

I am confused about the Id thing too. Where did you see it

Oh wow I never noticed it before…I do have something called a “University ID.” It is kinda long and starts with an “N” also.

Log into the home page click on preference and you will find an university ID
