@eastcoastkid3 Don’t lose sleep over it. The changes happen for groups of people at a time, without any discernible patten; it happened on Nov. 27th, for example, and it also happened today. Yours will probably be changed the next time they update. :)

what does the page look like before FA changed?

Ella and Natalie: Congrats on the FA change!! Doesn’t mean anything, but congrats :)

It’ll say “Award access not available.”

@rogahen what’s the different between 2 messages: “Award access not available.” & “no self-service aid for this year”?
what’s the no change look like in the screen

No change is award access not available. A change would say “no self service for this aid year” or something like that with the year 2015 listed. But apparently it doesn’t matter so don’t worry

Thank you!

Wow guess I’m rejected. I don’t care what that blog says why would peoples be changing while others don’t especially since it’s this close. Feeling pretty low…

@gaborik10, history shows that admitted students got their change as late as a few hours before the admission notification. And as much as I’d like to believe the legend of FA change (now that mine has changed), I highly doubt the director of undergraduate admissions would emphasize the untruthfulness of this myth. I think you have nothing to worry about.

Wait, so “No self-service access for this aid year.” means that there is a change?! WHAT A RELIEF, I’ve been moping for the past few days because I thought my FA status hadn’t changed. I know it’s not a surefire indicator of admission but it gives me a little hope for next friday :)

Ok, so is this decision coming out the 13th? or the 15th? I know albert says 13th but all other sites say 15th, which is strange.

I checked my Albert and found that Standardized Test Scores has not been checked off. Does this happen to anyone? Should I call admission office to clear this up? I am so worried about this.

@highskyfly you should give them a call right away. Did you get an email saying that your documentations were incomplete?

It’s 4:15am here in chitown… Should have predicted my insomnia would return the week before le d

2:30 here comrade.

No, I did not receive any email about missing materials. I am writing email to NYU admission office right now. I am so nervous

@highskyfly You should ask them asap. They should have contacted you, but it’s up to you to figure that out. Best of luck mate.

I haven’t checked that yet, but I would definitely call. I called them a few weeks ago and the man read off a list of everything they had from me-they’ve probably got your test scores, but calling will put your mind to rest

As promised in my post from yesterday, I called NYU Admissions this morning to ask them to clarify regarding notification date. Yesterday’s Admissions blog states that notification will be on Sunday, December 15, but Albert says it will be on Friday, December 13. The man I spoke with said notification will be BY December 15, but they are hopeful that notification will begin on Friday, December 13.
Since I’m new here, can someone please respond and let me know if people will post on this thread when they start hearing decisions or whether a new thread will be started. Just want to be tuned in when the decisions start rolling!

When I get my decision (accepted or rejected) I’ll post it here along with a brief overview of my stats and my FA message. I imagine that others will do the same. Kind of infuriating that we won’t all get it at the same time and we’ll have to watch as others get accepted while nervously waiting for our own decisions; but whatever, it is what it is.
