Does everyone’s thing say “new freshman” now? Instead of “first year applicant”

Mines does but hasn’t it always?

@sundychen95 No, mine says Fall 2014, Stern School of Business, Business, BS, New Freshman, Early Decision 1

But I don’t want to be LSPed so I’m glad it didn’t change.

Mine is new freshmen

I thought they never LSP stern because you can’t go to stern from lsp

@rogahen mine says the same. I really hope it doesn’t change I really want to go to stern

@gaborik10 that’s true but I did choose LSP as a backup though

Ah I see. I guess it would frustrating to be put into LSP with heart set on stern.

Man yeah but wow congrats that probably means you got into stern!!

And I thought that initially it said first year applicant?

Dam I should of took a picture lol

I don’t think NYU would put people who apply to stern in the LSP program. But yeah who knows.

@mravsetti I don’t think it means that I got in…pretty sure it’s been like that for a long time. Thanks anyways though :)

I was going to not post on CC during this process (remembering how nerve-wracking the process was for boarding schools), but I wanted to share that mine changed to “Liberal Studies” as “New Freshman” as well (I applied for CAS by the way).

I don’t know what this means. It has to be a glitch? I can’t imagine people would find out this early.

Do you remember if it always said New freshman or not? Also it’s not that early lol they posted on blog that they’re basically done with reviewing and such.

I read the thread from couple years ago and it says that those who got into LSP received an email a week about LSP before the decision date. Coincidence? Lol but for those who apply to stern, there is no LSP for us. It’s either accepted, rejected or deferred:(

Hmmmm well no one has said anything about an email and I’m sure someone on this thread will be LSPed so maybe this program change is the new email?

I think it was 2009 so things might be different

I haven’t received an e-mail from NYU informing me about LSP.

Has anyone’s status not changed? Or has anyone had a change that is not LSP or Stern?

@gaborik10

I really can’t remember if it said “New Freshman” or not. It might or might not. However, I am definitely 100% sure it never said LSP before—for me at least.

I saw a thread for ED 2 for like last or 2 years ago and the vast vast majority who saw a program change were LSPed. There were no people who stated they got rejected with the change but some no responders which is not good.
