NYU(NY) ED1 2018 Discussion

The question isn’t gone. click on colleges and then you can see your NYU answers. I’m pretty sure it means either an LSP acceptance or a rejection. lol I need to stop reading threads. Has anybody heard of a case where it changed to LSP and then the person was accepted to their initial choice (like CAS). Thanks!

Select the appropriate aid year above to view your award information. If the aid year is not activated, your award information has yet to be determined.

What does this probably mean ?

am I selected or not ?

We have that too. It doesn’t mean anything

Hey guys
I tried loging into Globesmart from my NYU home today but it says “there was a problem reaching the page you are looking for”. Last week I was able to loggin no problem. Can you guys still loggin?
6 days left; I just can’t wait anymore!!!
Best LUCK to all of you :D

My global smart works fine

FA message changed! i know we determined it doesnt mean anything, but just letting ya know!!

Nice Jen!
Do you guys think that those of us whose FA messages changed early (lThanksgiving) will receive our decision first?

Has anyone’s FA still not changed yet? I feel like mine’s the only one that hasn’t changed yet!

Mine changed to LSP as well. I think this means LSP why else would it change. I highly doubt a rejection would change you to LSP. I’m actually happy if this means LSP. I was a lower candidate, your there for 2 years then into your major, smaller classes second largest school. Anyone who says it’s for the unqualified is ignorant. Congrats to anyone who has LSP if it means what I think which is say is about 70% sure because why else?

Ah it could mean were being considered for LSP. I dunno gahh this adds to anxiety

I’m so ****ed at myself because in my supplement I talked about Paris and how I want to study there. Now I have LSP on my application status and I bet I’ll be asked to go to Paris. It’s so annoying because the admissions people most likely thought this would be something I would want, but I would much rather be in New York. this is what i predict will happen to me.

Haha they censored a word that I don’t think is a curse word. Anyway, I mean to say that I’m a little frustrated and disappointed.

Pink I think us LSPed will all be at New York. I do truly think this is good news for all in LSP.

@RCLVRR I just checked and mine hasn’t either.

I’m pretty sure that more LSP freshman are abroad than in New York, so we cannot be sure we will be in NYC.

Maybe I should have listed GLS as a backup school instead of just putting down Stern…I thought that just putting down Stern would show my commitment to business. I also thought that GLS was meant for lower applicants who feared their stats weren’t strong enough for NYU (but apparently I’m wrong?). Oh well, whatever happens will be for the best. I truly believe that if I don’t end up at NYU I’ll be just as happy, if not more happy, somewhere else.

@rogahen did your application status change?

I didn’t apply for any alternate campuses at all and mine changed to LSP

Well LSP change is no sure thing. I’ve been reading last year threads and a change in FA with Program change is a positive for admittance to LSP
