More like they did a decent job this year.

Hey this is super random but I’m freaking out and I found this thread and I saw that you guys are both being recruited for track and so am I! I pole vault and I have also been in contact with both my event coach and Coach McDonough. Just wanted to say hi and that hopefully we will be teammates!

Do you guys think being recruited will really help our decisions? I really hope so…

Anyone’s FA has not changed? Mine has not so I am pretty anxious…I used to believe the change means nothing but according what @uskoolfish said, probably it indicates acceptance…

Gallatin, 2040, uw3.6, 3 APs with all 5, great ECs, international student

Since there is no one who applied to Gallatin, I feel truly helpless :-(

Listen to some amazing music, fellow candidates. If this doesn’t make you hopeful, nothing will.

If anyone’s interested in my status, my FA has changed and my program is still Steinhardt MCC! Peace out

@19680923 yah mine hasn’t either lol but honestly i was looking at last year RD’s thread (which at this point is more reliable than last years ED thread bc i think that after ED1 NYU caught up with this whole glitch thing) and there were people that had no FA change that got accepted and people that had a FA change and got rejected… so honestly idrk. we will see its only 5 more days anyways.

Mine hasn’t changed either. Can you link me to last year’s when people’s didn’t change but still got accepted?

@RCLVRR Thank you : ) Have you found out what percentage of applicantws got their FA changed before notification?

NYU caught up with this “glitch thing” so now they randomly change peoples FA for no reason? Strange how they didnt just change it for all or didnt change it at all… Uskoolfish’s explanation made much more sense

Yea but RD thread is just as unreliable as the ED one. No one knows.

@idontlikewaiting I still love your username :)

But why have most of people in this thread gotten their FA changed? I am totally confused about the situation…

@19680923 lol same i dont really know whats going on either. it seems soo weird to me that 95% of the people have gotten an FA change, no matter how smart the people on here r lol.

Well A. This is ED1 so the chances of acceptance are the highest. B. People posting on here are all pretty dedicated to NYU and have been working through HS. Most have strong applications and spent some time on the essays. If your FA hasnt changed, dont freak out, it may change very soon, you still might have been accepted.

By most you mean less than 20 of us? Well we don’t really well represent the whole applicant pool.

I meant most on this thread, Im not sure where you’re going with “the whole applicant pool” thing because I was talking about why most people on the thread could have a FA change.

Because I guess there are a lot of ppl who applied to NYU aren’t in this thread. So some of them might have their FA changed some might not. We just don’t know how many have their FA changed or not

Yes I think there’s like less than 30 who have posted a FA change. In ED on CC that’s not overly ridiculous. Also remember people with and w/o the change may not be posting

@sundychen95 I was responding to RCLVRR saying that a bunch of the people in this thread had a change so it definitely could not mean anything… I know that not everyone in the world posts on CC… I still dont know what youre trying to say. There were a bunch of acceptances on CC last year, and almost all of them correlated with an FA change.

Like the hostility. Will help pass the time.
