I don’t watch AHS regularly, but the dad in that show is one sexy babe

I keep having dreams where I get the “Your Admissions Decision” email and then I click to check it and it is loading and then I wake up!!! AHHH

Is it bad if I’ve watched almost everything on netflix already? Homework seems so pointless this year

Yep guys I have LSP (originally applied to CAS) and my FA changed to 2015 no self service available or something like that

So I guess we have no way of determining what this must mean?

I actually called admissions today. LSP means you are being “considered for LSP” as the girl said. But it definitely ruled out your first choice. And she said that the changes are all deliberate and not a glitch … 0.0

Well then…so how are we all doing :0

@onesmallpenguin I was just about to call so I’m glad you posted. This freaks me out. All of us with the LSP change are waiting for either LSP or nothing. Is there anyone with the LSP change and no FA change?

Ahh! NYU is sooo confusing! I decided to call anyway and the guy on the phone told me that the changes mean nothing and that I should disregard them completely. I have no idea what to think right now.

Is anyone getting a “You are not authorized for this page” on their Albert account? I just logged in and this is just now happening…

@PinkPurple95

Well I KIND OF feel like we have a good chance of being accepted Esp if we have the FA change, because the girl was kind of like avoiding the question when I asked if it’s definite. But then again that could just be protocol for them :0

Obviously that have no protocol if all the admissions officers are giving us different answers! I think I would accept LSP, but I would also feel like I have to apply other places. Ugh I wanted to be done.

@Fujiiapple

That happened to me a couple times but I just refreshed it and it was fine !

I’ve been looking through this thread occasionally (I also applied ED1) and I too received the change from CAS to LSP and was so confused about it. I sent an email to NYU’s Admissions Office to see if there was anything they could tell me about it. Just received an email back from an associate director of undergrad admissions who told me that it simply means the committee is also considering me for other programs and that I am still being considered for CAS. Apparently it’s just a part of the reviewing process and the status may change as they look at other programs. It was nice at least to get an email back and that I might still be considered for CAS.

Thanks for the posts guys, glad it can kind of be clarified…

Well it was nice kind of feeling stress-free for a few days but if it’s just consideration… Back to worrying. 4 days to go!

On the positive side for those of you with program changes, it definitely looks like NYU has not rejected you and they value your application enough to give it a more in depth look to try to find the best program match!

I’m also applying for Stern ED I, and I was wondering if international IB students would have a higher chance of getting in than others, and if applying to financial aid matters regarding your application. I’m really worried about getting rejected, my stats are quite low and Stern seems to be really competitive. Is anyone else applying to Stern’s Business and Political Economy program?

Do you think the people who have their original major are either straight rejected or accepted? I still have my original major and I’m kinda freaking out.

@fujiaapple whats your major?

@suspense22 I applied to Stern for global business. My stats are pretty solid but nothing amazing which also worries me because, as you said, Stern is super competitive

While numbers are important for stern, they do look at your other activities So while I don’t have the highest GPA (3.6+ UW) I have a great SAT 2320/1570 split and quite a lot of EC’s. Hoping ED will help with the extra push

@businessgeek did your FA change? my numbers aren’t as solid as yours (sat2160 3.94 unweighted) so I am worrying right now lol

@businessgeek I honestly don’t think you’ll have a problem getting into Stern with these SATs. Mine were quite low, but I hope being an international IB student might help me either get into Stern or another program. (If thats even possible haha)
