@Sundy My FA does say 2015 no self service available roughly. I never realized there was a change since when I first looked at that page that was what I saw. No need to worry, I’m sure everything will be fine!

@Suspense hopefully! My gpa is a bit on the low end compared to other people. We’ll see what happens :)

My major still remains the same for CAS (Art History) and my has FA changed. Is this a good sign? I haven’t been put into LSP so I’m not sure if me staying in the CAS area means I’ve been denied. Thoughts? Do you only get put into LSP if you are rejected from CAS/Poly/etc?

Well clearly the changes mean something, we just don’t know (otherwise nothing would’ve happened). I guess it’s safe to say it’s just a condensation for noe

Guys, I’m a freshman at NYU right now, and my FA didn’t change until after decisions came out. If you don’t see a change, don’t freak out… It’ll all be okay. Good luck :)

I do believe that if your program changed to LSP, that means you’re out for CAS, because why would they even consider you for LSP unless they don’t accept you to CAS?

However, the bright side is that it does seem to mean they are considering you for LSP, which means it wasn’t an out-right rejection (e.g. someone who applied to CAS and was rejected without being considered for LSP).

My friend got his acceptance yesterday. He was recruited.

Sorry but I don’t see admissions denying people from CAS and putting people into a pool to be considered for LSP. Seems unlikely and unnecessary. I think they would automatically decide on LSP right then . Also I highly doubt they’re still deciding.

I was reading the NYU RD 2017 Thread and it seemed like many applicants didn’t receive a change in FA until after acceptance (some still showed award access not available afterwards)
