@suspense22 Decisions will be released early morning on the 13th last time I checked

Here’s a cut and paste of the latest NYU Admissions blog–12/6.

Earlier this week I reported that admission decisions will be mailed on December 15. We are now ahead of schedule and will, in fact, be able to mail admission decisions via email on December 13 beginning in the very early (pre-dawn) hours. I highlight beginning because we do stagger the release of admission decisions to ensure for optimal delivery without errors. It will take us the course of the entire day on December 13 to send admission decisions. We cannot predict exactly when you will receive your admission decision via email. We can only ensure that it will be sent before the end of the day on December 13.

Hey, guys! Only four days left! I am super nervous!
I applied for Stern BPE as my EDI. Has anyone else also applied for BPE?
Best luck for everyone!

Well… I applied to CAS as ED1 and my status has changed to LSP, core program. Don’t know what that means. Since there are only three days left, I am super-nervous right now… Btw, I am an international student from Shanghai. Nice to meet you all.

@LilithZhan Welcome to the thread! A change from CAS to LSP has been happening to so many people. Although we are unsure what it means there are three main theories:

1) You have been rejected to CAS but are being considered for LSP
2) You have been rejected to CAS but accepted to LSP
3) It means absolutely nothing/Albert is very glitchy

I think theory 2 seems to be the most popular

Hope this helps! Oh and by the way, if you call asking about it they won’t tell you a thing.

@rogahen thank you! Wasn’t entirely sure.

@nyuBPE2018 Yeah I’m applying to BPE as well. Heard its even more competitive than Stern itself.

I read somewhere that about 10% go into LSP which is a lot with a 30% acceptance rate. So it would make sense a lot of people on THIS forum have changes to LSP around like 15-25

Hey @ suspense22,glad to hear you applied for BPE too! Do you see any change in your program? Mine remains “Business”.

Also my FA is " No Service…" What about yours?

I am soooo nervous…

Out of curiosity who’s in school?

Haha. I’m in school! I wanted to stay home today too but no such luck! Waiting is sooo hard right now.

Snowing like crazy here so I asked my mom lol.

I’m in school! I’m in business/Econ right now… I’m staying home Friday! Anyone else?

What do you guys mean by FA? I’m new to this thread and Albert:(

Half day just got out of school

FA means financial aid. If you log into Albert, some people’s FA has change to say 2014, and this might indicate acceptance. However, NYU has released a statement saying that an FA change means nothing, so I wouldn’t worry about it

The FA change makes your status “2015 New York University No self-service access for this aid year.”

As some of you already know I’m a huge car and stick shift fan. It’s snowing hard here in northern NJ (no school) so my friend and I got some breakfast and went drifting around corners in an unplowed development. BEST MORNING EVER. Anybody drive stick on this thread?

Woke up this morning at 6:50 AM. Got the e-mail from school around 6:30 AM that school is cancelled. So I went back to bed and slept for another 6-7 hours.

Lol Siren…turn traction control off and go do some drifts!

do you guys think NYU cares more about test scores than grades?
