@rclvrr I was reading some of the RD 2017 posts and there were a few people whose FA changed after they got accepted.
So theres still a chance, but seeing how most people have had a change, it doesn’t look so good.

if you dont mind me asking, which major did you apply for?

@spongebob123
ahh thank you! I SERIOUSLY hope FA change means nothing, but I can’t but stress and worry.
but thanks! I didn’t apply for FA but I sure hope good news come my way :)

@emilyy5117 hopefully that will happen to us!!! i applied for finance but i heard that they dont factor in ur major when they look at ur app. or at least i hope they dont or else im screwed because finance is super competitive haha. I seriously hope that it will change, but i dont think that happened during ED last year which is why I’m freaking outttt

@emily i understand! I’m getting to the point where i might just leave my phone at home friday because i know i’m not going to be able to help myself! apparently rejections came out early last year but who knows if that will still apply for this year.

@RCLVRR best of luck to you and to me! we can do this! finance is the ultra competitive major but you never know! @spongebob haha basically for me (i live in CA) it comes out tomorrow midnight
and im like idk what to do.

Haha I know man I know…but some people might drive themselves crazy over that. Besides, as you always say, “things might be different this year.”

Btw, the EDII people results proved the FA theory right…yet the RD didn’t.

But seriously, as much as I love NYU, this is not something students should know about or stress over. Everyone should just hear on the same day without these “glitches” or “changes”.

@yungmoney @rocky i would but cc won’t let me because i dont have 15 posts yet i think i just googled nyu fa change college confidential and it popped up

i applied to stern and i have a 3.19 gpa and a 1980 sat… LOL.

however i emailed my regions representative and asked him to consider me for CAS as well. this was the response i got back after confirming that I’d be considered for other colleges

@tnal that means your thing has been CHANGED. we don’t know if it’s a positive sign yet, but it’s definitely not a negative sign. you in tha clear!
