@horace - doesn’t show up for me, just shows the home page of the web server - prolly iPhone low tech! Thanks for clarifying!

I remember during the EDII round some kids had their FA status change 3 days before the notification deadline so have hope guys!

indepcc - I have that change as well. I hope it means something good.

@mamamianyu
To explain- mine originally just said no information available- yesterday it changed to what I stated in my post; so by “pre-change” was just no information available only. It could mean many things- different wording for different programs, or that you applied for aid and were denied. I did apply for aid, but there is a good chance I won’t qualify- I’m just on the edge of possibly getting FA. And, NUY does not fulfill all need- so who knows.

Here’s mine:

Pretty sure this is what indepcc is describing. Is this a no change, a pre-change or a full change for those who won’t be getting FA?

@Trenchlord
I have the same page when I login and look at my financial aid. However, I did apply for financial aid and should be receiving some because my family is not extravagantly wealthy.

even people who didnt apply for FA should be havin it changed. mine is the same as trenchlord :(

Haha then we’d do best not to kid ourselves. We definitely have not been accepted yet.

haha prolly havent lol but why lose hope over FA statuses.
better way to find out - when they officially release decisions.

any aussie hopefuls for NYU?? :)

@Trenchlord
Mine is the same too!!
I really hope to see a change soon! starting to lose hope…

Eh. I really hope I get the 2014 change because NYU is my first choice, but there are several other good schools who have already accepted me and who I’ll be receiving lots of financial aid from. I’m not losing all hope yet, but we have less then two weeks before NYU releases their decisions so the chances are decreasing every day.

Gallatin and still no change … sigh

Does anyone know if there’s a change if your wait listed? I don’t think mine will change anytime soon, so I’ll take wait listed over being rejected.

My status hasn’t changed, however, my father didn’t submit his NCP until March 12th. I’m just wondering if this could have an effect on my admittance decision, or if it will only effect my aid. I’m sure that I won’t even be considered for aid now, even if I am accepted, because of my father waiting so long to submit.
Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

Aren’t decisions supposed to come out on the 1st? Why are some people saying they are coming out on the 29th?! Does anyone know for sure or when they came out for people last year?

Last year the decision was out a week before Ivies decision. So on the 22nd

Guys, I didn’t submit my TOEFL scores because my application was complete as I was informed in late January. But I just read that TOEFL is required for international students. Does it mean that I am gonna get rejected?

@momworried. I think you are mixing up your schools. NYU’s decision came out last year on Thursday, 3/29. The result was available in Albert just before 4 PM EST followed by an email 50 minutes later.

My financial aid didn’t change on Albert, but my whole major changed. I applied for a BA in International Relations and now it says Liberal Studies, Core Program. Is there anything different about these programs? Is this the program where you get to travel to Paris, Florence, London…during freshman year??? I hope this is a good sign!!!
