NYU question

Is NYU like Ithaca where you must audition musically before you find out if you're accepted academically, or like most colleges where you find out academically first?

NYU has a “blended” admissions process… you apply to one specific college (ie. Steinhardt, Tisch, CAS), and you are accepted or denied by that college/ NYU. It is NOT a School where you can be accepted generally/ academically to the university but not the college (or major). So – if you apply to Steinhardt and are not admitted you CANNOT be admitted to NYU in another college or major.

Very good thread from the MT forum – http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/nyu-tisch-mt/838137-can-i-apply-tisch-well-another-school-nyu.html

With NYU it is “all or nuthin’”… sorry, just started rehearsals for Oklahoma! today

GOOD LUCK!

Ah alright, thanks. I was hoping it’d be the other way around so I didn’t have to wait so long for the decision, but oh well.

Thanks again!

Well, here’s hoping that the application gets read by Ado Annie rather than Will.

;)… Ok!
