NYU doesnt look only at your GPA . They look at everything essay, ec, reccs. doesnt matter how high or low your gpa is you can still get accepted or rejected
Lmao this thread is wild. I’m starting to hate this school for keeping me anxious for so long. Probably going to have to commit to a different school before I even hear back, most deadlines for enrollment decisions are the 15th. I’m honestly debating committing to Fordham before their scholarships have been released and then negotiate the offer later, I can’t afford to lose my housing offer. Is anyone else having the same thoughts?

@HunterNurse123 Wowww that’s wonderful! Congrats! I currently am not in a nursing program but I took a lot of prereqs for the program and got As in pretty much all of them. My chem and psych professors wrote me stellar recommendations so I’m crossing my fingers! If you don’t mind me asking, was there a particular reason you chose not to stay at Hunter? (It might come in handy for the future)
Sometimes if a person has already posted their stats from previous threads you can click on their profile and see their replies. Instead of making them post their stats over and over again. Just saying it’s easier for everyone.

It just stinks because the enrollment deadlines for other places are within the next week or two, so at this point, there’s really no other choice but to desposit and lose the fee if we happen to get in
yeah. NYU released some decisions (CAS tho) at 5. People in my friend circle got accepted.
Do you guys still think there is a chance of getting decisions today?
@Qetikobauri don’t think so. It’s possible we may get decisions on Monday, but that’s a big maybe.
Has anyone received rejections yet? Hoping hearing later isn’t necessarily a negative indication.

@Chiefton97 I think rejections come out last, because I applied to Cornell and their decisions came out in November, I got rejected right after Thanksgiving. I’m not sure if all Universities are like that though.
Whats the basis for releasing admissions in groups like this then rather than just all of the decisions on one day?
