If you were a history major and had to pick, which one would you pick and what would be your reasoning?
I’m just curious about general perception of the two schools.
I’d probably pick George Washington (assuming that’s the GWU you’re talking about). I think NYU is a bit more prestigious, but you can’t beat the DC location of George Washington for a history major. GWU is also probably a bit cheaper, though I don’t know your FA packages and COA.
I’d pick GWU because NYU is probably massively expensive and being in DC as a history major is like a kid being in a candy shop.
