NYU vs USC vs American

<p>I've been accepted to all three of these and got waitlisted at Barnard (if I were to be accepted, I'd go there in a heartbeat). But for the moment, it's down to these three. I got a considerable scholarship to American, and negligible amounts from USC and NYU. If I were to go to USC, I would go to their Annenberg Journalism school, which I know is very good. If I went to American, I would go to their International Service school, and if I went to NYU, I would go to their CAS. </p>

<p>I just got back from visiting American yesterday and loved it. I also have family there, which is a definite plus. However, there's something that has me fixated on New York, I am absolutely in love with the city... so conflicted!</p>

<p>NYC is not going to go away if you don’t go to school there. It sounds like you would be happy at American and it will be much less expensive. If so, you can use some of that savings to have a fun week in NYC every spring break.</p>
