@quiteabeaan I got the email and didn’t apply for financial aid. My aid year says 2017-2018. You could still have a shot they haven’t sent everything out yet.
@quiteabeaan No, as mentioned numerous times before only the ones who received the interest letters will be taken off the wait-list for now. It was not an email about financial aid, but rather an email about the available spot for you at NYU.

It kind of makes sense that NYU will make decisions based on financial aid needed since most of their scholarship funds are probably gone.
Just got a dm back from admissions. All they said was emails will be out soon today
I got no interest email but I just got accepted to spring 2018, CAS. I think the email was for people who didn’t specifically say they’d attend in their waitlist response form

@student3662 my college counselor said they were but only for ~100 students. that’s why extra were put on the waitlist this year.

I’ve got 72 hours to decide between NYU, and Northeastern, I would prefer Northeastern but NYU is a GREAT uni!! Which one would u guys chose based on every aspect (campus, social life, coping with work…)??
@Miti66 I don’t believe it is sent out alphabetically, or else I would have been part of the very last.
I just got off the waitlist, received my email 10 minutes ago. I will be declining to attend UC Berkeley, so my fingers are crossed for anyone still hoping to get in!
