what do u plan on majoring in? @nico_98
It looks like they are releasing spring acceptances right now
Liberal Studies @khan28
@miti66 I don think it’s alphabetical because I’m an S name. On my portal there’s a link to a new decision letter and they let you know through email. And correction: I got global liberal studies not cas. However they may send them out by school so I’m still rooting for y’all
which uni do u suggest?
How did you find out you get in? Did you log into Albert?
then i’d say nyu because northeastern’s strengths are more science based and engineering based. i know 3 people who go to northeastern and like it but it’s not as much of a liberal arts college. @nico_98
of course, im also biased because I LOVE new york and i live like 20 mintues from boston so i don’t think of it like i do NYC. however, both are amazing choices, congratulations! @nico_98
did y’all get spring or full term? i can’t even breath rn
Yeah pls Specify^^^
I understand what you mean @khan28 , but I was thinking of maybe changing major at one point throughout the 1st year (from liberal studies to business management or entrepreneurship on worst case scenario). Northeastern has a decent Business school and NYU has a very good Business school so im still not sure what I will do… Any other suggestions in terms of campus, social life…
i really love music too and i want to take a music class in college, but northeastern had like no arts classes so that’s something to consider too. @nico_98
oh true northeastern has good business/econ. northeastern is good for people who really want jobs coming out of college. i know my friends sister makes a lot of money and it’s because northeastern had such an amazing career network. she was gonna go to grad school but she’s making so much, she doesn’t have to. @nico_98
I visited Boston last summer and it was great!, I also visited NYU and I thought NYU is a great uni but the city is too chaotic for me (thing is that i dont know if its that I am not used to New York or something, but the feeling was different than to Boston) @khan28
did they send all the decisions out today?
I got the email on Monday and I can apply for housing as a 2017-2018 NYC freshman. I haven’t received anything today tho.
Not sure, nice name tho, gotta give you that! Don’t worry keep your head up
yeah boston is a great city for people who don’t want the rushy, hectic life of nyc. my best friend doesn’t like the dirtiness of nyc and that’s totally understandable. if you fit in boston, go for it! I love boston, i just personally want to go far away to somewhere new and nyc is where i feel like I can do that. boston is still a great city though and a big one. definitely a great place for undergrad! @nico_98
helllllo~~~ its me… i have been wondering if the emails are all spring term or full term or anyone from tandon got anything…
Did you also get an offer from them? @khan28
