I did not see an “of” or any kind of possession, so I’m pretty sure the preposition “in” is necessary to preserve parallelism. The only argument I see against this is that “that in expending” is redundant, something I don’t find entirely convincing. Thoughts?</p>

<p>The question about the x,y,z answer is x + z < 180. if y >90, then its two supplemental angles, x and z MUST be less than 90. therefore, because they are congruent vertical angles, they can never add up to 180.</p>
