I didn’t like D for some reason. I can’t remember.

they play
she plays

only use plays in third person singular

I hope E’s not the right answer for the opposite direction one. It sounds weird and repetitive, even for a parallel structure problem.

And I’m about 90% sure it’s superfluous.

I thought role was the subject and it was singular so it had to be plays

Also was the one where they removed a cube 27 or what?

@feedback411:
i’m pretty sure it’s E -including the expended thing

Was that the problem about energy expended because I put E. I think it was like #11. I’m almost 100% sure I got it right.

can i get confirmation for the western musicians and singers one? was the answer ‘one of’ or no error?

I think that “energy expended in” is a matter of the idiom used, and in is sorta implied when you use “that of” and also “energy expended” I think would be am entity which you’re kinda splitting up by saying “that expended.” That’s why I picked that of, but I’m no grammar genius haha so idk :p

@Dango Do you know the full sentence?^

@UChalpz1 the cube one was 9*6 = 54

what were all the critical reading parts? i remember there was

Am i missing any?

@dangodango
it’s one of
that’s the error

It was definitely ‘one of’. It needed to be changed to ‘some’ because country singers was plural.

@feedback411 but ‘cuttlefish’ could be pural as well. and what was wrong with the plastic bags at grocery store spot the error?

It should have said some of instead of one of as the subject and pronouns had to match.

what was the one about the plastic bags? I don’t remember it.

Western musicians and singers, though once somethingsomethingsomething, have become one of the most somethingsomething performers.

i put one of because i thought it has to be replaced with ‘some of’, but doesnt “western” categorize the performers into 1 type?

What about the Homer passage?

Was one of the answers “words that sounds/rhyme better and flow better”? and one answer was that past researchers may have thought that homers epics were originally only oral poems and things?

I hope the writing section has a good curve. That one was a lot harder than the ones in the blue book imo

also for the role thing
if you reword it: the parents and educator play a role that is… or whatever
so i think it is play

I think the plastic bag one was the one where something needed to be changed to ‘that’. I think the error was ‘when’.

it was the one that said in 1982 grocery stores switched from paper to plastic. people are saying change ‘when’ to ‘that’ but you cant have ‘that’ after a comma
