is it 2.5 or 12.5 i dont remmeber 12.5 as one of the oprtions tho.
@basedchem Ok thank god lol. Yeah, error was “or” or whatever. Should be “and”, did so many practice tests with those kinds of problems.
did your writing section’s improving paragraphs talk about how a daughter is having a roommate and her mom doesnt really approve of it?

Yes @d00mbuggy
Does anyone have a rough idea of what the curve will be
@d00mbuggy Yes
@basedchem So what did you put for the sinuous question?
Ominous explaination is somewhat more aggressive by using the word ominous. I think he just states may be not his reading changes but his thinking changes, so he kind of confess genuine confusion
@basedchem: Lol I was so nervous to post that because NO ONE except you and me believe that it was comparing the art deca and nova. I crossed out all the prepositional phrases and in fact I believe it should be “contrasts”. “Sinuous” is correct because : A. “Sufficiently enough” was redundant and I’ve never ONCE seen a CollegeBoard test that has 2 redundancy questions
B. And as other people have said, there is enough nuance in the definition for it not to be redundant.
MOntreal ubiquitous?
2.5 is wrong. That was the amount in time that would take her to pass. 12.5 is correct. 5 for G. 1 for M (already at 10 yards)
is it A tho?
Anyone remember the choices for the sinuous question as well as the one with ominous and genuine?
@zacle1234 I don’t think genuine confusion is correct because he’s subtly suggesting an explanation for why he can’t focus anymore
Me me. I put genuine confusion. Anyone by my side???
This is what I put for readings. Please tag me if you disagree with some
- analytical
- when they debated on Internet usage, I said the questions was to provide ominous explanation
- In Japanese Zen teacher question, I said the paradox came from the ambivalence of teaching profession (but I think this is wrong…)
- furiously alive amoeba = intensely
- appreciate the spyro gyra in amoeba passage = understand the remarkable nature
- About lost civilization Atlantis, passage 1 explicitly and passage 2 implicitly say that “there was no significant subsides in modern era”
- About Japanese Zen teacher, I said the “in traditional Zen philosphy… satori enlightenment blah blah” is for providing rationale of a behavior (but some put to say the origin of philosophy)
and I have some questions
- Japanese Zen: the sentence is awkward, but your overall writing is good, said American teacher. What does awkward mean? unmanageable or inelegant?
- Atlantis question, what does passage 1 suggest about Plato’s writing? I put it argues that Atlantis existed, but I think the answer is that there is no significance
- Japanese Zen, the students had to keep copying the letter until they reached perfection. Is this meant to show criticism or is it just a way to have perceptive transformation?
- Atlantis question. What is relationship between passage 1 (saying Atlantis appeals to the public) and passage 2 (saying why do we need Atlantis?)
@JuicyMango Could you post the question in its entirety? I hadn’t even considered “contrasts”.
- Inelegant
- No significance
- Perceptive transformation
- Appeal vs. practicality
