OCTOBER SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2

one answer for a probably question was 3/20...don't remember the question though.

Does anyone know the answer to the one with two intersecting planes?

treadmill:

d = rt
4.5 = 4t + 8 (1-t)
solve for t

yeah something was 3/20, haha
you're kidding me, Crystal, that's so easy. why didnt i get it?!?!?!

Intersecting planes - line and point?

line and point

it was E - 3/20. white cars and two doors.

Um I got 45 minutes for the treadmill but I used the average speed formula andI think that's wrong ffs! >:(

And then I got 1 and V, not I and IV...did you guys check your signs and such?

ah crap
i dont remmber if i put 1 and 4 or 1 adn 5
does anyone remeber teh chioces?

^Thanks CrystalPineapple! I knew there had to be an easy solution.

im pretty sure it was I and IV because I and II contradicted each other and IV and V contradicted each other. if I was correct, so was IV. not 100% positive though.

Well it was eitehr 1 and IV or 1 and V. But I'm pretty sure it was V

I said I and IV.

dang, there goes another one =/ can someone write it out though for me?

What question is this?

congrats to all who braved this test!!! Good luck on your scores. I hope we all get a big fat curve working for us.

Yeah, it was a bit harder than the practice tests. I skipped two.

z-score stays the same. But they were asking for the z-score of 2x vs. x (correct me if I am wrong). So in that case, we multiple by 2. Right ?
The 2x confused me. I wasn't sure if they were asking for the z-score of 2x or the value of 2x after having doubled the values.

for the Surface area one am i the only one who got 24 pi?
2pir^2 + 2pir*h. I forgot what the exact radius and height were, but I was 100 percent certain when I chose the answer

For the question with the coordinates, y = x^2; therefore, it is part of a parabola.
