Just called admissions, and they said that they’re def going off the waitlist! but no update about when we should hear back (she kept saying by june 30th)

hey guys im new here and i swear im not a t**** but i just received an email from columbia about the waitlist situation!! the email basically tells you to check yourself and i called them just to make sure it was legit! not sure if anyone else got it or not
What information from the email did you get; did you learn anything by “[checking] yourself?” I haven’t received any email, and I just checked the online portal and saw no update.
Did you call the office? What did they say?
