can you guys mention which form code your test was?

mine was 63a

if i remember right mine was 60D; it had breast cancer reading passage and a science passage about acid/base titration

Oh and guys... which is more gramatically correct?

The car sputtered to a halt
The car ceased to a halt

mine was 63A i think.

63A
this isn't too short - shut up and let me reply

I would say sputtered to a halt. Ceased to a halt I believe is wrong because cease and halt are identical. It is just repeating itself

Could you explain me how the ACT is graded? I took it for the first time today but I don't know exactly what is meant by scaled scores in ACT. For example, in the SATII writing even if you miss 4, you can still make 800. Therefore is it true for the ACT also or not? I did well on the English and Math but in the reading I guessed 10 questions( 1 passage) and in Science I guessed 5 questions ( last experiment) without even reading the questions. Therefore in case of reading assuming that I got 30 correct out of 40, would it be equivalent to a 27 on the ACT reading (75% of 36) or could it be different? Is it like a ratio of the correct answers/ total questions * 36? I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me with the scoring since I could not understand the guidelines on the ACT website clearly.

Thank you

I had 63A as well. I remember some of the passages in reading from a test before; must have been the October test. There was a passage about a lady and her daughter visiting a friends house that eas very noisy. The lady related the house to her childhood and to her mother. I remember that for sure...It was in the 10/04 test....

Anyone else have some of the same passages?

i had 63a and took the test on oct. but didn't have the story about the women and her daughter until yest. Does anyone remember the quests. for this passag. thier was one about why she didin't have identity. the answers were like she couldn't speak about it, the wmoen had no personal... can't remember

yea, wasn't that the answer to the question? I think that was A or something.

I found everything on the test to be pretty easy besides the math section. When I took the ACT in June I breathed through the math with plenty of time to check over answers and stuff. This time I had around three that I had to skip and guess on. But besides the math I thought the rest was pretty easy. The reading was really easy if you just read through the passage. A little bit different from the SAT.

SnappyMatt987, same thing here. I was surprised to see a trig identity question too.

Science was definently the easiest i have ever taken

i believe that the answer to the period question was 14.
It was simply counting the days between the dips in the graph.

I hope my score increased..

hey guys reply to the question i have posted above please

Shubham,
The raw score for the ACT is how many you answered correctly, while the scaled score is what the raw score converts to on a 1-36 scale. You have to find the conversion scale somewhere.. I have it from a previous test.
30/40 Reading is ~27, but your logic is wrong.

Could you tell me more raw scores for the scal scores from 27-30 for all the subjects?
Thank you

hey everyone... i took this test yesterday and i had seen it before..... like on a practice test or something.. anyone else feel the same?
