I apologize for interrupting with your thread earlier...
I wish you all the best of luck!

there was email notification for some people last year

....

I'm already doubting that they blocked his IP address. There's a pretty obvious....nevermind. Not poking that bear. As long as it doesn't degenerate into a sequel, I don't care.

EDIT: The post is already gone. I'm guessing this means it was in fact him. And proves that his admissions letter was indeed a lie.

According to old 2007 threads, the first accepted student (and I think only one) on the board got it by email on the morning of the 11th which was a Friday. He was an international.

And transfurious, I don't think that (3.) is true if you're referring to the alleged one from the previous thread.

Any links to the 2007 thread would be appreciated.

Just did some research on my own, sorry for the misinformation above
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/339992-yale.html?highlight=Yale

(1.) People started receiving letters from Yale on the 11th/12th. One (international) applicant found out via e-mail on the 12th
(2.) The committee is making final decisions on at least some applications this week
(3.) Either one person found out early that they were rejected or there is a pathological liar on CC.

Pathological liar. It was already inconsistent, heavily questioned in the previous thread and it's just been proven with the vanishing post-count-of-1 post on this thread. First troll I see on this board. I'm just not going to speak of it any longer hoping it goes away.

And I guess judging from last year's timeline we can start expecting some decisions by next Thursday/Friday. Gulp, indeed.

no I definitely think the mod is right

Opps... I guess I was wrong.. Thank you undisclosed..

Hey Undisclosed,

Any reason you think the letters are coming out this Thursday/Friday? I suspect they will arrive on Monday/Tuesday, because I presume this process will be as painfully as humanly possible.

ugh I may still be at school when the letter arrives at my house... hearing from my parents won't be so fantastic. Talk about anticlimactic.

Just because it's around the same date they came out last year. It's probably going to be Monday (12th) but I'm hopeful that it's before the weekend.

Haha, yep, I'm anticipating finding out through my parents as well.

I'm glad that the other thread is gone. It was a train. It was SOLID GOLD though. It was pretty funny, and kind of disturbing at the same time. Anyways, good luck guys!

all the best to you guys, it's going to be a long week ahead for us :)

I want to go to a nude party at Yale...

Probably good if she is unique. Grades aren't always everything...even though they are important.

I hate when people say "oh he/she doesn't have a shot" because they don't know what they are talking about. Not to say that I do. However, unlike most people here the Yale admissions officers don't JUST look at numbers. If they did then Yale wouldn't be the school that it is today.

Haha, they have nude parties? Awesoming! Might make it awkward to hug your pals though...

Haha true....I wonder what they talk about....I mean what are you gonna say "Hey...nice schlong, wanna dance?"

Would work for me.

Then again I'm apparently a notorious man-slut.

hmmm I wonder where this thread will take us...
