Official 2011 Yale Transfer thread

They don’t seem at all suspicious to me, considering their past posts (though the time zone thing does sound a bit weird).

I’m just wondering whether jellybean14 is an international student, as both of the other acceptees are. That might be telling. Just a guess.

We’ll all know by tomorrow. If I don’t make it this time, then it’s one more year of anxiety…

Scratch that, he’s a domestic student. That probably means none of us got in.

I guess I’m rejected too then!! oh well… Now I have to decide between my school and Cornell… It would have been so much easier to decide if I got into Yale…
I’m more disappointed than I thought I would be… I think I’m gonna go shopping…

Calm down y’all. Let’s just wait until tomorrow, and be sad then.

Omg omg im sooo scared and I havent been getting updates too from this thread …I hope we all get in I hope so soo bad! Im so anxious …I have dreamt of this all my life and not getting in would be heart-wrenching and the fact that yale is 5mins away from my school is just the worst! I hope we all et in by God’s grace

Congrats to all who were accepted! To those of us who were rejected, or didn’t get our e-mails yet, “There’s always grad school”…I finished studying for tonight and south park is on so… two more college decisions to go!

I, too, don’t find these acceptances suspicious at all especially when one of the CCers actually copied and pasted his acceptance email. Hmmm

I am rejected. I didn’t find out yet, but I know =D

damn, i’m an international student and looks like i’ve got not email. Oh well i guess now i am just looking forward to geeting an email from Yale. Having a university like Yale actually email me is a pretty good achievement? ah… denial. good luck everyone :)

Please we should not give up! dont! its not over til its over. Im also an international student too! But even if we dont get into Yale it doesnt mean its the end of the world. We can still succeed so much in our present schools because we are smart enough to have even applied. Going to Yale just makes it official that we are mart. So dont you guys dare give up on this because everyones hope threads are whats making me have some hope! So dont give in just yet!

Good luck to everyone! Don’t lose hope just yet!

@cordova1992, you got accepted to cornell… What are you complaining about…? haha. chin up! quite frankly it isn’t the end of the world, especially in this case.

@cordova1992 Stop! Negativity will only hurt you. It’s good to be a realist but… don’t underestimate yourself.

9 AM… any time now.

haha i no…im just waiting and looking at my phone…

You guys are not alone. How much longer…?

Yeah I’m operating under the assumption that I didn’t get in… seeing as how last year they found out a little before 9 and it is now a little after 9. Oh well. Life goes on I guess, good luck and congrats to all those who got the golden ticket!

I heard that all the people who got in last year saw 7 birds fly from the right side to the left side of their window at 8:47 the morning of the decisions, but I saw 9 fly the other direction at 8:51 so I’m probably rejected.

I also heard waitlisted people saw an eagle perched on a rock with a snake in its mouth. Or maybe that was the Aztecs. I always get confused.

Seriously, how about waiting for decisions instead of the speculation?

@OutHere, get out of here if you don’t want to participate. ■■■■■.

Haha, nice twist on the name.

Also, I’m confused… are you accusing me of ■■■■■■■■? I’m as anxious as anyone and just making a joke.
