Same here I’ll be attending USC so hopefully that frees a spot for one of you guys!

@Crazynewton that definitely settles many worries here. As for @Therealnewy0rker and @Crewchic good luck at your next schools!

@therealnewy0rker @crewchic thanks Gusys and good luck at your schools. Would you mind share your statis?

Hey guys! I’m new to the thread but I’ve been following you. I’m a CAS Econ applicant and haven’t heard back… Called the admissions in the morning and they talked about the rolling basis drama again:( It sucks for I submitted my application in late January!!!

hey guys all of this rolling basis talk is confusing me… Does NYU do rolling admission for transfer students? If so then I’m rejected because I didn’t submit my application until late march. Or is it that the decisions are only being released based on when you applied? Meaning when you applied has no affect on your admission, just when you hear back.

@mz1235 I got the decision yesterday morning around 6, I think the acceptance rate of NYU is ridiculous small, and sometimes it depends on your luck. I have to say, I know someone who has not good activities background as I got in to Stern, but I was just saying, still happy for her to get in. But I strongly hope they can make some changes.

@transfer20140826 you got the decision on Friday?

To accepted students: I created a facebook for transfers this year: https://www . facebook . com/groups/730426873662441/

I got accepted into UT Austin McCombs business school. I really want to go to NYU, but the apartment in Austin is selling out really fast. I don’t know if I should take that chance or try my luck with NYU?

@natand I’m assuming you’re still waiting to hear back from NYU? If you’re worried about housing at UT, put your deposit down there. You can always withdraw your acceptance from UT if you get into NYU, you just lose the deposit.

@natand, @theyadoreyou is right. You should place a deposit to hedge your beat. You can also talk to admissions and tell them that you need to hear back by the end of next week because of schooling decisions.

I’m just gonna pretend that they’re purposefully sending the decision late because they want us so much that all the other colleges’ response deadlines will have passed and we’ll have no choice but to choose NYU +3+

@crazynewton so about these two waves left… It seems like tuesdays and thursdays are the days admissions have been being released (correct me if I’m wrong) so if there are two waves left wouldn’t that just be the first wave on Tuesday this coming week and then the second wave on Thursday? Or are they splitting it up over 2 weeks?

has anyone in the last few days seen any change in housing from “non renewable undergrad” to “transfer undergrad”? I haven’t and I’m really freaking out haha

@dwarnock95, admissions told me they release decisions every Thursday/Friday of the month (unless that is only Stern), so I believe a wave refers to the combination

Ok thanks!

@Carher

Here are my stats for NYU CAS Econ
HS GPA: UW 3.7 W 4.0
College GPA: 3.8
ACT: 31
Hooks: Intern at J.P. Morgan

Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting!!

Sorry, the comment above was meant for @Ftgirl

@therealnewy0rker thank you so much! Hope can be your schoolmate!

@crazynewton I just called the admission office and they told me most of the transfer applications have not been reviewed, therefore the decisions cannot be finalized yet. She told me that the latest will be by the end of month. And yes, she also suggested me to pay the deposit to other school first to save the space. Thanks for your advice! Oh, she also told me not to get my hopes up because it is very competitive transferring into Stern.
