@natand so how did it go? But will decisions be released over the weekend?

@Goodwill19 I dont think so. I haven’t heard back until now, and there was a maintenance on Albert so I was expecting a decision this morning maybe, but there’s still nothing. I am assuming I just have to give 'em a call on Monday

For those who are attending NYU in the fall, what are you guys doing about housing? I’ve committed and applied for housing, but whether or not I go to NYU really depends on if they can offer me housing.

@Mrtaitea I spoke to admissions and they notified me that all NYU transfers have to get off campus housing as they will not be able to provide any on campus housing for transfers.

So I just called and they said there was no decision ready yet, the wait is killing me, but at least there’s still hope He did say we should hear back this week (by e-mail).

I just gave them a call and they told me they extend the decision notification to the middle of June, so ANOTHER WAITING! Yeah, great!!!

@natand haha, seems like we’re in the same boat, I have been waiting for hours this morning to find out!

What decisions are left to be released? Wouldn’t it be waitlists or rejections? Since they claim to have no space right now

@Anton164 YEAH dude that’s crazy. I couldn’t sleep at night since I am in California, and I was expecting the decision to be released at 5 NY time, so I was already up since 2AM in California.

@finefreshfierce how did you know about that claim?

@natand on the wait list email we got it states they don’t have space available right now, which is why we were waitlisted.

@finefreshfierce so I’m guessing I am being waitlisted as well?

@finefreshfierce but, maybe it can be that they don´t have spaces available specifically in the major you requested right? speaking of, what is your major?

@studioartnyu I hope you’re right!

@natand @Anton164 so we should hear back by this week or next week(assuming it’s mid-June)?

@mrtai & @me1330, I have been wondering that too. I visited NYU today and they told me that on campus housing is really unlikely which is very frustrating. how are you guys going about finding roommates and apartments? not being able to live on campus is affecting my decision to attend NYU very negatively. you can’t find a roommate until you put down a deposit but i don’t want to put down a deposit until i know that i will be able to live with another (sane) NYU student in affordable housing within walking distance! let me know if you are aware of any good resources for dealing with this housing debacle.

Accepted to CAS!

Oh my god @Hopefully congratulations!! :)

@hopefully Congrats! What’s your major?

Thank you!!! @studioartnyu & @niche13 International Relations
