<p>Post your waitlist decisions for the Class of 2017! On a side note I think gap year students were notified Tuesday.</p>

<p>Hey so my regional admissions counselor said that they will be done with the waitlist in the next two to three weeks at the latest.</p>

<p>Don’t know for sure, but she said in the email that they will be done admitting and cutting students from the waitlist in the next two to three weeks, after which she expects it to be closed. Also, she wrote that everyone who agreed to a spot will be notified if they were accepted or rejected.</p>
<p>Ah yes does that they’ll be finished admitting the students or that they will start admitting at that time? Can you post the email here?</p>

<p>Like I said, I’m not sure, all I asked her was when waitlisted students will be notified if they are accepted and if the rejected people will receive notification. To summarize, she responded by saying that she was not sure but she expects it to be in the next two to three weeks. But again, don’t take my word for it. She told me that they did not know if they were going to waitlist, but then I saw posts that people were already admitted from the waitlist.</p>

<p>Rejected. Though it was expected, it still feels awful.</p>
<p>I know a couple who were accepted for the class of 2018 with a mandatory gap year, but no one for the class of 2017

Looks like I’ll have to try for a transfer, or just wait for grad school.</p>
<p>I was rejected as well, but that is okay because plans changed before I received my letter and I no longer wish to attend Chicago.
