@radgreek Wait I’m so silly. I just came home from vacation and that was yesterday’s mail. Today’s has yet to come! We have hope! I wish that I didn’t fall in love with Georgetown so I could be 100% excited about other schools!
After days of lurking and noticing that these questions were sometimes ignored, and sometimes answered differently, I must ask:
Do international students get the physical mail as well? If not, when do we get our portal log in info?
@fflzataraa YAY! That makes me feel better. I hate waiting so much! Hopefully we will both receive good news today.
@MexiStudent not sure about physical mail, but I think int’l applicants will be receiving an email next week informing them of their admissions decision.
How do you find out what shipping zone you are? I live in NY but don’t know if that means I’m in the “one day shipping zone” or the “two day…” Anyone know the answer to this?
@seniors2016boi back on this thread, there’s a link to the postal service website that will allow you to see when your mail will come.
@radgreek would you mind commenting that link again, or telling me the comment number? Sorry for the hassle
@seniors2016boi if you’re in NY you’re probably in the 2-day shipping zone. Either way you’'ll probably get your letter today or monday. Good luck!!
@seniors2016boi no problem! the link is as follows: https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/
Make sure to input Gtown’s zip code (20057) into the text box on the screen.
Accepted in Northern VA! But there was no blue sheet in my letter.
@radgreek Thanks!
Tampa applicant here, no letter in the mail.
Missouri here, nothing today! Guess I’ll wait until Monday. I’m ready to hear either way, I think.
Edit: My mistake about the blue sheet in acceptances. In years past, it was there to explain housing options.
OMGGGG ACCEPTED (From NYC)
So have we confirmed that acceptances are thicker and possibly the postage stamp is more?
Nothing here in Indiana
Nothing in Colorado yet…
Congratulations!!!
Denied in Baltimore, postage was $00.48
