***Official 2020 Georgetown RD Applicant Thread

It says Georgetown College - AB Undeclared !! Is it possible to have not been accepted into my major?

@whitespace Maybe but unlikely because my enrollment form states directly my major (Business Admin- McDonough School of Business)

Wait jk I figured it out – I applied as undeclared with a international studies as a tentative major. You can only apply to the college as either undeclared, sciences, or language and linguistics!

@bunnygirl31 there is no IS or IR in the college - that is just SFS

lmao just saw the mail truck go up the other side of my street, hits my house on the way back down

in other news anyone listen to the new Thugger mixtape Slime Season 3? Shit is fire

you guys get mail Sunday? O.O

the grind never stops @kaitlynjoy

anyone in Florida hear anything??

no omg so scared
i think we should get them tomorrow

maybe tuesday for central florida

If you’re not near a major city or the state capital then it may take longer.

So the accepted letters have a postage of .70 cents and the rejection letters have a postage of .48 cents. Does anyone know what the wait listed postage is?

Accepted from NY. Letter had a postage of 70 cents. No colored sheets in the envelope. When I got te letter it definitely felt noticeably thick.

I read further back in the thread that waitlisted postage is .48

okay wait so we might get mail today? given that some people got some??? AHHH nervous

Well, we don’t get mail on Sunday at least where I live.

I thought so too but this is making me crazy @whitespace

I’m excited to find out tomorrow, either way.

Luckily, I have a free block during the time when my mail is normally delivered. So I will be sitting at home waiting for it to come.

In Florida and I’m like 95% positive all of Florida will get theirs tomorrow, I’m Southwestern Florida

Accepted!! Good luck to all. Envelope did appear fatter than rejection envelopes, which I have received. Am interested in peoples’ feelings of alerting via the snail mail method vs. e-mail or logging on to the websites? Is it more less humane, do you think? Do any other schools alert originally via snail mail?
