Official ACT June 11th thread

einstein screwed me over in Science, wasted my entire time there

I did too since the abstract said "large bodies"... The venus experiement had nothing to do with eclipses, so it couldn't have applied.

yeh there was NO UNIT though to the ration since the mass canceled out....but what about "why did they use the sun?!"

crap, I wrote there was a unit. Ugh, that sucks and the science curve is harsh.

So there was no unit?

Tsmallzxc, was that the third answer choice? or the last one?

Sci and Reading curves might be a little more lenient this time around... I expect reading will be RAW 39-40 with MAYBE 38-40 as 36 and science will be raw 39-40 as 36

I wrote no unit too! yess

But I put solar eclipse for that one... darn

Oh yeah...another one I wasn't sure was the sun one with when is the delay longer...when the radio waves are farther from the sun or closer?

I put closer to sun because delay was longest when Venus was directly on opposite side of the sun.

i think it mentioned mass and solar eclipse but it being the brightest was the best answer...hwoever, it was a bad one ai it mentioned all those things in the writing.

say i get like 30, 28, 20, 28
how could i come out
lol

How many questions were there with the einstein passage?

just average the 4 together, surely you can do a simply average, even after that evil test :D

Ivy: 5, I believe.

On the einstein passage, what was the "correct" graph.

what did u say was the sun problem's longest delay?? i think i put when they were like venus, sun, earth.... and yes, as someone else said, i chugged red bull during the break!

I believe there were 5 questions, I think that is set. All passages have 5 except for the *****ing science passage, which has 7

What was the answer to the delay question with the graphs? The answers looked like parabolas/ sections of parabolas...

ha my brain has officially shut off for summer
it will be back early september.

Was it the large parabola that was in the middle? That einstein passage just threw me off.

The Einstein passage was nothing. All you had to do was look at the pictures. Sometimes if you look into it too deeply you confuse yourself.
