@CGlynn Yeah I talked about how the cover reflected a common view many French people held
@guanlinzhou I said something similar, basically just said that it meant there were many people who saw it as an invasion, and added that the magazine may not hold this opinion.
I didnt use the teacher and the magazine
@Waldoizhere Yea I had no idea what the teacher was saying… I felt like the magazine just had to be included to show that many held the invasion viewpoint.
I said that the magazine cover was a transition from the nonacceptance from the 80s into the acceptance of immigrants in the 00s
I put that the teacher said that there should be homogenization and basically the same culture everywhere in the world in order to create a harmonious society.
@guanlinzhou Still shows that many held the invasion viewpoint at first.
@CGlynn looking back i feel like im an idiot for worrying so much. Seeing how i have a lot of the same stuff as most of the people here im now reasonably confident i got a 5. I just dont understand why i finished the test with so much time left. Have i told you all how much i hated frqs yet. Hated the dbq and the frq choices. Studied the regular frq topics and most of them didnt even show up and there was no way i was going to even think of doing the marxism frq.
I said that people had “Mixed” opinions from the magazine, which means that some people did hold the invasion viewpoint, but some had stopped and accepted immigration
I hope the grader interprets it that way
@Waldoizhere Yea the FRQs were different this year in terms of topics. As long as they don’t say I misinterpreted the magazine cover AND the document with the dictionary guy (and I don’t feel like I misinterpreted either really), then I also feel confident that I got a 5.
I didn’t know the difference between Marxism, socialism, and communism. :))
The fact that people dont agree on the interpretation means that i made a good choice in not using it. The magazine cover and the teacher did nothing but confuse me
me too @CGlynn @Waldoizhere
@guanlinzhou I think you should be fine. As long as you didn’t outright say that the magazine held the invasion or immigration viewpoint, I think you’re fine. That’s why I’m confident because I just said that it showed some held or had held the viewpoint that immigration was bad.
even with I did misinterpret them it was probably really minor
well back to AP bio
which I cannot concentrate on for my life
@guanlinzhou I said the same thing for the teacher
btw If anyone is considering taking Ap bio next year…just don’t. Unless your teacher is great, Bio sucks
