i’m currently using myer’s eighth edition of psychology and the study guide for it as well. currently almost done with chapter 11. not sure if i am going to buy a review book as well or not…

I self-studied Psych last year and got an easy 5 solely by looking through Barron’s. You don’t need anything else. What I did is I made flashcards on the bolded terms in Barron’s on a flashcard app on my iPhone, but there are flashcard apps where you can download ready-made flashcards for AP classes.

Self-studying AP psychology. @_@
20% of ap psychology is biology+statistics…

can I just use princeton review to self study? or do i need an actual textbook

you don’t need an actual textbook.

What’s everybody’s study schedule? I’m reading ten pages a day and doing the questions until I’m done with the book. Hopefully, I will finish my first read of the Barron’s by mid-March.

How easy or hard is it to self study this exam from a review guide with zero prior experience in the subject?

Keep in mind I did the same for both the Ecos and stats last year and got 5 In all three.

i think you would do fine, asig15
just start now, the psychology exam is mainly just based off of memorization

I’m currently taking this course and reading through 5 Steps to a Five and it’s been pretty helpful, thus far. The only thing I’m actually worried about is the Biological Bases of Behavior (the whole neurons thing) and Sensation and Perception unit (eyes, ear, sound, all the senses basically)

I’m self-studying with the Five Steps to a Five book starting tomorrow. Pretty excited for a crash course of psychology over the next few days (I don’t know if that is sarcasm or not. I’m kind of actually excited)! Do you think I’ll need the Barron’s book too in order to get a 5, considering I have not taken a class in psychology?

How far are you guys? I’m a bit nervous about the sensation and perception stuff too. Are the questions about the senses very specific? :/
