**OFFICIAL April 2014 ACT (US ONLY)**

I didn't see an official thread (if there is one, please direct me, and this one will be trashed); anyways, 3 days until the test...what are you guys doing to prepare last minute, what are your goals, etc.

My friend made a Google Doc for this test: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1S83qNSysTzWoizP4VoM9l0eM_sDB6Pbafp84Z8wYkXM/edit?usp=sharing

Good Luck Everyone!

We should use this as the official thread

I don’t know how I should prepare last minute.

@acttest Don’t. Take the day off if you can, otherwise try to study lighter things such as memorizing obscure formulas. Best to give yourself a break.

Good luck all. Got a 30 my first try; if I get above that on this one I’ll be elated.

i am completly freaking out!!!
please help!!! :(

Good luck, everyone. I am done studying! I know I have done all that I can.

Good luck everyone!

Best of luck all.

ACT #8 for me, here’s to finally getting a score that I would find preferable >.<

Whew. Got killed by math section again :frowning: other 3 seemed comparatively easy.

Predicted:

Overall - 34 (33.5)

Science - 36
Math - 29
Reading - 34
English - 35

Questions I had:

Math - n/200 number of deciminal spots (3?)
Conveyor belt and circles, answered B (22pi/3 + something)

60 the graph and minimum required X^ to achieve (3?)

English - passage about title IX, question about “she applied (blank)” choices were “to which” she applied, “that” she applied, etc

I put “to which”

Reading - Orange passage, comparing description of line to description of shadow

Line appeared nurturing, shadow seemed ominous

The math portion was very hard and this was my third time taking it and I always do pretty well and have no trouble because I’m good at math especially but today there was just so many I was stumbling on and my score was supposed to be borderline 30 but goodbye 30 it was nice knowing you, the other sections were actually pretty good I felt much more confident compared to last time

I found the english and reading very easy, the math portion was semi easy except toward the end and the science section was absolutely crazy. I hope that I at least got a 25, but ibreally want a 26.

Can anyone try to find the reading passages online?

According to our google docs meeting of sorts, I am doing well on all three sections except math, which I have confirmed 4 wrong at least :(

I found the Reading really easy, the English wasn’t bad either. The science was way too long, had to guess on the last few; ran out of time.
This was my first ACT, didn’t study, I’m assuming 27/28. Definitely like it better than SAT though

what is the google document’s link? can someone post it pls

**LINK TO GOOGLE DOCUMENT DELETED BY MODERATOR. Only links to authoritative websites are permitted on CC.

Thanks! @kansaskid1

Your welcome VaishS!

Glad thats over! I think I hit my math target of 30 and Science of 28.

The power went out during the test. Does that mess up anything with my scores? It was out for about 20 minutes.
We just sat there in the dark until it came back on and restarted where we left off.

I studied so hard so I hope it does not mess me up.

I’m feeling a 36 on this one, kids.

Im feeling like a -36 -_-
