Mjip11, you’re my hero. Hahaha.

I love you guys. You make the wait possible haha

Seriously. You’re all awesome

I don’t understand why people get paranoid before results come out. We are transfer students, presumably most of us we had a fiasco in freshman admission. We should know the feeling of gloom and doom after a single peak at " we are sorry to inform you…". If acceptance is yours, it will come in due time. If it isn’t, just enjoy the gleam of hope for now. Anxiety doesn’t help at all.

@lumberjack23 - thanks for putting things in perspective…it’s good to know there’s others out there stressing out & checking this thread every few hours

count me in haha
writing a two page essay feels like writing a book at this point…

thankyou sakari! i try :)

@lumberjack23 Honestly when I started my transfer application, I thought that I’m stronger and immune to any disappointments in the future. I was like, “Just apply and forget about the whole damn thing.” I was totally wrong. The bitterness of the freshman experience has given birth to legions of anxieties. hahahah

I hate to break it up, but there is just wayyyy too much sentimentality going on here.

I can understand the anxiety associated with any process where you will be investing significant time in the future. But this nervousness should not come at the detriment of your current academic situation and the complete of important final exams.

If you are admitted, good, be ready to work hard for success. If not, look forward and see how you can better position yourself to succeed in the future.

Well played both of you

This just got way too heavy handed. It doesn’t seem right to tell people what to do or feel.

By the way…slight change of subject. I have no idea if anyone would know this but does anyone have any thoughts on what distinguishes spring from fall accepted students? Is it random?

Edited out the blatant hypocrisy, eh?

I apologize Mr. @Browntransfer101, please do not take umbrage at my words of wisdom, they were only intended to ease your angst.

@mj

Yes I believe those for spring actually study abroad for a semester if I am correct?

The original form implies that spring is a less popular choice and so you can be rejected from fall but accepted into spring. @2013 I softened the wording to follow my own advice, yes.

Transva I didn’t want to judge you or anything I was just trying to keep us focused on the positive, as you were :)

Yeah I think that’s generally the case. I just feel like most people put fall as their preferred semester to start so yeah I wonder how they decide who gets accepted for spring despite applying for fall. I’m just asking because I would much rather start in the fall
