Enrolling as Junior

looks like they’re reviewing our applications…my financial aid to do list on the portal has shown I needed FAFSA/CSS/IDOC even though I submitted all three 6-8 weeks ago…today the FAFSA was shown as received. Imagine they’re weighing financial need

how difficult is it for transfer applicants to get any financial aid? I’m a domestic applicant. Do they give any? Do they give only to the top applicants?

My EFC is 0, would I have any chances to get in if I need almost full financial aid?

^Have you read the thread linked to in post #6? It is likely your best source of information since it is coming from members who have actually received FA packages as B transfers, not people who are currently applying.

have you guys’ materials all been checked off? Mine hasn’t changed at all and there are a lot materials missing…

I am thinking about transferring to Brown next year and I am not very familiar with the process. Is there anyone here who is kind enough to explain how difficult it is to transfer to Brown and how does the process go?

Mid-term report never shows up
And TOEFL doesn’t either

I have until May 1st to pay up deposit to universities I was accepted to.Is it possible for Brown to release decisions earlier ?Sigh.

Guys, Brown hasn’t sent me any email with a “check application status”

Never mind, I went and did a password reset without getting the email in the first place, I had a blank security question and I hit spacebar and somehow it all worked. Weird.

I was just looking at the undergraduate admissions website and it says that transfer applicants should apply before the March 1 deadline. I applied on March 1, does that mean I won’t get in?

I don’t think they’ll give a damn, quite frankly.

@filmandwriting: The transfer deadline is assumed to be 11:59pm, their university time (in this case, it’ll be EST). So as long as you submitted before midnight on the East Coast, you’ll be fine. I submitted mine about half an hour before the deadline, and my materials have all been received. Good luck!

@bumblebee12: Brown’s decisions should be available in mid-May, according to their website. Fingers crossed! :)

Just thought I would give this thread a bump after a week. :)

I guess ppl don’t have too much to talk before the decisions start to get released lol

does anyone know if there’s a more specific day that decisions could start to be released? I know last year they started getting mailed out around May 7th but the year before that wasn’t until the 15th or something

I can’t help stalking this thread everyday.
