^This is the evaluation sheet that they use to determine admission. I found this through the “How we Evaluate your Application” section on the undergrad admissions website. Although it does not say how much legacy and 1st generation college student matters, they are considered as factors in the eval. process.

Mrpresident49’s link is for the freshman class of 2010. The 2013 freshman class is going to look significantly different. In 2010, Michigan received 30,000 applications. This year, the University should receive 45,000 applications.

As for the release date, it is unlikely to be out on the 14th. Most likely, Michigan will release all answers on the 21st.

they’re usually released the monday before the date they say. for example, this year they’re saying the 24th, so the first batch will be released on the 17th. that’s how it has worked in the previous years.

Correct me if I’m wrong but weren’t they released the Friday before the deadline for the last 2 years? I doubt that they would wait until the 21st though since that’s the Friday before the deadline this year.

@FlashBoy - I was told by my uncle who does admissions at Michigan. They said they were aiming for the 14th but this was a little while ago. So they may be behind, I’m not exactly sure.

I heard they’re being released tomorrow but I seriously doubt that as it’s usually a Friday. I’m so nervous! I got into Fordham, Loyola and Michigan State so far (I’m in state) but I LOVE Michigan. Fingers crossed!!

@theforestagain, who told you here that? Is it a reliable source? I agree with @magentaturtle, it’s extrememly early and unlike Michigan to send it w/o a heads up e-mail first.
Maybe what this person meant was that the notification emails would be sent tomorrow?
