funny, it did not allow the name. Censorship? The website name is “college p.r.o.w.l.e.r” without the periods.

sam4print- no, I haven’t heard of that site before, thanks! I think it’s a bit too late for me to take the ACTs now since I’m applying for ED…

Is it possible for ED applicants to be deferred to regular decision?

Cantabile7: yes it is possible to get deferred.

But very few deferrals result in an acceptance.

Hey guys! How do we update our SAT scores after submitting the Wellesley admission application?

CatchingMyStars- Did you self report them? I’m pretty sure you can request college board to send all your scores to Wellesley. If you just took it in November, go onto their website and order it (they let you send it to 4 universities for free). I’m not really sure about self reporting thing, maybe check out their faq’s?

I’m pretty sure all scores have to come from official organizations. Just send in your scores from college board and the admissions office will update your data once they receive it. It would be helpful if you filled out the “future SAT sitting” part in the Common App - they would expect to receive new SAT scores from you then.

Yes! I clicked the self-reporting option. Sigh… Collegeboard charges ):

Just got my login!

^Yeah, me too! But we can’t see any useful info for a few days… :(

Thebeatlestoday- I got mine too! But honestly… I don’t see much use for it other than to keep track when my counselor sends my mid-year transcripts in…

I finished my Why Wellesley essay! Or at least pre-edit version is done, and it’s decent. I think I will submit EE at this rate.

I submitted my app on the day of the ED deadline! Kinda a close call, but it’s cool. Could someone chance me please?
Ethnicity: Asian American (Chinese)
SAT superscore = 2180 (CR 650, math 770, writing 760)
GPA: 90
Rank: top 25% (I go to a really competitive public school in NJ)
Freshman year: 3 honors courses
Sophomore year: 2 honor and 1 AP
Junior year: 1 honor and 1 AP
Senior year: 2 honors and 2 AP’s
EC’s: I play the flute and soccer. My soccer team was a finalist in the state cup a few years ago and I’ve received multiple awards for flute playing and piano
Volunteer: sophomore-senior year I participated in a volunteer group that plays repertoire for elderly people in nursing homes.
Essays: common app was about watching Jeopardy! and I used the “marks adulthood within your community” and for the supplement it’s pretty decent as well.
Recs: good, I think.
Interview: we really connected over Chinese culture and she really liked my stance on competition
Music supplement: could have been better if I had more time to practice but I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback about it from my flute buddies.

I’m not really used to chancing on CC, but I think I included everything?

just sent in my essay. i’m RD applicant :)

Midnightscarlet: You certainly seem like a competitive applicant! :)

nineplusthree: Whoop whoop join the club! :p

Midnightscarlet- You sound like a really accomplished and well rounded individual :)

@Thebeatlestoday: I had no idea this thread existed! Thanks so much for making it. (: Hehe…I hope to see y’all next year!

I just found this thread and I’m so excited! I’m sure the next few weeks will fly by and we’ll be receiving our decisions. I’m nervous but I hope to see you guys next year!!

After leaving Wellesley off my list for a while, I revisited it yesterday, and now I’m in love. I’m doing the supplement question right now and choosing only 2 out of the Wellesley 100 is nearly impossible. It just might be taking Barnard’s place as my top choice, so I’m really glad I didn’t do ED at Barnard!! I’m obsessed. Good luck to everyone, especially the ED applicants who’ve already submitted!

Just did the interview a few hours ago! It went really well, so that gives me such a confidence boost! :)

I visited the college, interviewed, shown plenty of interest, and now I’m polishing up my essay to have it done before the EE date. I really hope I get in! I’ll be a nervous wreck when decisions are coming close…
