did you all put quotes around the books you’ve enjoyed?</p>
<p>nope. I called the admissions office to ask questions about that (I wanted to know if we needed to put authors or anything like that), and they really don’t care about how you format it as long as there is a comma between each title. they’re just trying to get a sense of who we are intellectually outside the classroom.</p>

<p>When do we find out when the date of release is? Sent in my app last night and it’s already been too long of a wait.</p>
<p>How is this extension going to work with regard to common app? Are they going to extend the deadline? If they don’t, will we still be able to submit after the first?</p>

<p>I don’t think deadlines will be extended with RD…just for ED, unless another hurricane comes along.</p>
<p>I wish I could be on track with you 2100 sat 4.0 gpa people. Is anyone else trying to be in the 3% of students who are not like that? I mean I have a 3.7 a good backstory, firstgen, and really good hooks. My only hinderence is the stupid SAT (1570). Good luck everyone!</p>

Man, getting into columbia early would make my year. Realistically, however, I’m expecting a deferral.</p>
<p>I’m expecting rejection. 2170 SAT, 3.87 GPA, couldn’t take AP’s until junior year… Yeah. I’m just hoping for the best though, maybe the crapshoot system will work in my favor!</p>
<p>don’t worry Pitt13, a lot of people are expecting rejection (including myself!) but you never know what the college admission officer might find in your application that could jump out at him. btw only 4 minutes before we can track our application status! haha</p>

<p>I RLY wanna get acceptance so desperately. It will be brutal for me as an Asian international, but I still give it a try. If I get rejections from both Columbia ED and UChicago this Dec, I feel like I’ll suffer from nightmares till march.
Basic stats- 2240 SAT1, 790Math2c, 780 chem, top5% GPA, AP psych, macro micro econ, enviro sci, Calc bc, comparative gov (5)
