@giantsquid how you have listed your SAT score as a weakness I do not understand. I’m an econ student at NYU too; took a decent number of intro classses last year. perhaps we have seen each other.
@josh007 Hey! Nice to meet you! I listed it as a weakness because, as I now realize I forgot to mention, it was a re-take this January after a semester of college, so it should have been a higher score.

Current College: CUNY
Current Major: Applied Math
Prospective Major: MESAAS
1st Semester GPA: 4.0
Mid-term: 4.0 (hopefully)
High school GPA (UW): 3.5
ACT: 31
EC’s: pretty amazing and super impressive for the major.
Strengths: Essays, recommendations, college grades, rigorous college schedule
Weaknesses: HS GPA, ACT (gap year between HS & college, so this might be mitigated)
Has anyone gone online to check the application status/tracking page? For some reason most of my things have a red X and “Awaiting labels” including my writing supplement, secondary school report, etc. even though I have already submitted them all (and the page as well as the common app shows that I submitted my application/writing supplement over a month ago.) What about you guys?
Same here! I wonder if they haven’t just started tracking transfer paperwork yet.
@xnsch787 @loodik1 Mine says the same thing. I’m guessing they just haven’t actually updated the system yet. The application tracking just went live today so I’m going to give them a couple days before I start worrying 
Also, do they track high school transcripts? It doesn’t have a status for mine. Did anyone have their high school transcript attached to their secondary school report? My counselor said she sent both through the mail separately…
@celinebentley @loodik1 well i suppose that’s a relief, haha! I’ll probably wait a few days to see if it updates at all before I decide to call over. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t just me since all my other school tracking pages show that they’ve received everything already! Thanks!

Is there any way for them to confirm receipt of the midterm report? I sent mine through the mail. If they don’t ever get it, will they just email you?
@loodik oooh me too! back in mid-Feb but it hasn’t been marked as received yet. do you see yours as received? i called them today and was told their sorting things out by the end of this week so i should check up again next week.
@jellymuffin What do you mean received? The mid-term report is not part of the list in their required documents on the application portal.
@josh007 oops, i was talking about my advisor’s letter of rec. totally misread the posts… seems like finals week is getting to me haha
